Oo this place is my to go place for soup dumplings. They make the best crab soup dumplings ever! My absolute favorite. I’ve tried a lot of their other dishes too, and everything I ordered was delicious too. Love this restaurant.

Not authentic Shanghainese. The soup dumplings are disappointing. Skin is very thick. Little juice and not flavorful.

Always enjoy coming here! Having lived in china for several years this place really hits the spot when I get that craving. The Yunnan Spicy Pork is quite a treat. And spicy dishes are spicy! No watering down here. I’ve yet to try the Peking duck they have but will definitely bring more friends.

I just passed by leave a comment it
I ordered from Uber eat but I wanna say the wine Chicken is exceptional..its the best wine chicken I have tasted in NYC. It's tender and flavorful not just boil the chicken and put some wine with it. Definitely 10/10

The soup dumplings are the move! Was really surprised since I always get the same soup dumplings from Jo shang hi. This is great alternative . Everything else is kind of alright.

Very terrible service. We ordered the food and came out a different dish. Even we told them this is not what we ordered the waitress took it to the kitchen and the owner brought it back the plate from the kitchen and asked us to eat it. This is what we have they said. This is very rude. Poor customer service. It tells so much because is the owner of the restaurant and their staff.

This spot is good. I tried their wontons in both styles and they were popping. Overall great flavors.

Always fresh, friendly, and delicious. We love bringing our out of town guests to this unassuming little restaurant.

Many years ago, I came to eat Xiao Long Bao on the first day you opened. I was amazed. Later I moved back and forth and passed by today. I ate it again and it was still amazing. It is the best in New York.

I don't often review places but this spot is great.

I was slightly worried when we walked in and the staff was amazingly friendly (atypical of your standard Chinese spot). Bantering with customers and laughing and giving out hugs, knowing customers' preferred seating. Super attentive and friendly.

Food came out and was legit.
Soup dumplings were hot and juicy, skin was thin but doesn't break, overall well seasoned.
SJBs had crispy bottoms and fluffy tops, perfect texture.
Rice cakes had wok hay and massive flavor.
Salt Pepper Squid was hot and crispy, with well seared onions/peppers & deep fried shallots to top.

Solid place. Will def go back and try their more Canto focused dishes next time (which looked delicious too).

Just a warning for people ordering delivery, if you order egg fried rice, which as of posting costs $14 on Uber eats, it's literally just egg + rice + oil
