The desserts here are very tasty and not overly sweet. I tried the golden toast and the waffles were so good. Definitely a great choice for dessert after a meal.

I ordered these drinks on seamless last night and they decided to give me the cans that have MOLD on them and were expired for over a year!! Absolutely disgusting. You can clearly see the mold, all they had to do was see that then check the date but instead, they chose to give it to a customer that wasn’t in store to stop them. Thank goodness I was able to get a refund from seamless but what if I or another innocent customer wasn’t? Those kids need proper training on cleanliness asap and they need to clean out their walk-in! I couldn’t even eat the dessert I ordered with these drinks because I don’t trust their standard of cleanliness.

I love this place, this place has great dessert, great drinks, and great services. It has been my go to dessert place here in flushing. I highly recommend the matcha lava for all the chocaholics out there! Overall great experience!

Worth every penny and the ½ hour drive from Wantagh who cares that it took 20 minutes to park ? I finally found a spot downhill from the John Hotel just before College Point Boulevard

Solid place for unique desserts and fun drinks. Nice ambiance inside and service is both friendly and timely. So many different options depending on what flavors you like or what you’re in the mood for. We tried the Sweet Beani which had a delicious blend of flavors including black sesame ice cream. Would come again to try a different dessert and would definitely recommend stopping by.

This place has the best and most unique compilation of desserts.

The desserts and good and the service was great! Our server was very attentive, and constantly stopped by to make sure our waters were full and we were satisfied with the desserts. The taste is definitely catered more for the western palette though, because they are quite sweet.

Good service, clean and employees were quick to respond to requests. I wish if the dessert menu had more creative options.

I LOVE this dessert Spot. Always such a joy to come in. The customer service is always incredible and a treat whenever I come in. There was a server named Jewel who always explains the menu very well which mades my experience feel comfortable and welcoming. My favorite has to be the golden toast even if you’re craving something small their cookies are a must try.

Me and my friends went to Spot Dessert last night after dinner, excited to have some dessert. As soon as we walked in, the waitress seated us without a smile or greeting, which already felt a little unwelcoming, but we didn’t think much of it.

When it came time to order, we asked her for recommendations on what’s popular and what would be good for us. In our group, one of our friends wears a hijab (we’re all Muslim, but she’s the only one visibly wearing it). We ordered iced tea, hot tea, and several desserts.

When the iced tea came out, we asked the waitress about the lychee jelly — specifically whether it contains gelatin and what kind it is. At first, she wasn’t sure and went to ask. She came back and told us it was pork gelatin. That was already a concern for us, so when the desserts came out, we asked again if they contained any gelatin. She wasn’t sure, went back again, and eventually told us yes, most of them contain pork gelatin too.

At that point, we couldn’t eat or drink almost anything we had ordered because nearly 90% of their menu contains pork gelatin — something that is extremely important for Muslims to know. We asked why this wasn’t mentioned on the menu, and she simply said she “wasn’t sure and didn’t care because it doesn’t bother her.” That response was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional.

We returned the items we couldn’t consume and instead ordered a matcha lava cake, which was safe. However, when the bill came, the waiter told us that since they had already made the other desserts, we still had to pay 35% of the price, even though we couldn’t eat them. Our total came out to nearly $50 including tips, which felt unfair given the circumstances.

Before leaving, we asked the lady at the front why they don’t inform customers about the pork gelatin, and she had a very rude attitude as well, saying, “It’s not our fault… even the staff doesn’t know what kind of gelatin it is.”

Honestly, if you’re working in a restaurant and selling desserts that mostly contain pork gelatin, you should know this information and disclose it upfront… especially in such a diverse area like Flushing where many Muslim and vegetarian customers eat.

We will never come back to this location and do not recommend it to anyone who avoids pork for religious or dietary reasons. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Attached is a pic of the lady in counter we spoke to name Michelle (rude and disrespectful)

Came here for dessert last week and had a great time. It gets busy very quickly but we were able to get a table within 15 minutes. Would come again!
