Newly renovated, now looking spiffy and new. Breads are made in house in the back and prices remain the lowest among similar stores in the area. I've lived in the area for 15 years and have walked into every bakery in the area multiple times, this store is my favorite.

Has all the classic HK style bakery buns that you can think of. Compared to the other bakery competitors in the area, they have the most affordable prices and good quality buns. It's a bit of a more hidden spot compared to the other places but still a close walking distance from the main intersections. Totally worth the visit!

Thought they were very under priced. Like a loaf of raisin bread is only $3. When I finally had a piece at home I found 2 long hairs in one slice. If they can’t be bothered to wear hair nets when making food, I can’t be bothered to go there.

Bought a supposedly black bean bun. Instead it was filled with red bean paste. Very deceiving & disappointed. 2nd time it happened. It was never like this before. Maybe it's a different baker. The egg custard is good so are their almond cookies.
Peeple here have very bad attitudes. Doesnt know what is customer service at all. There is alot of bakery in Flushing. Please take your business elsewhere.

Affordable bakery with all the classic Chinese (Hong Kong style) bakery goodies. Pineapple buns, hot dog buns, pork floss buns, etc. Love their walnut cupcakes and milk tea. A new find is their fruit and nuts filled loaf. Star Bakery is cheaper than other Chinese bakeries on the same block.
