Great atmosphere and excellent service. The space is beautifully designed with a calm, traditional Chinese aesthetic, making it a comfortable place to dine. Our servers were attentive and helpful, especially with guiding us through the menu and handling allergies.

The food was flavorful and well prepared, with plenty of options for different spice levels. Everything came out fresh, and the house-made sour plum drink was a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great spot for dining with friends or family, and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.

Amazing Sichuan food with bold, authentic flavors! The dishes were perfectly spicy and full of aroma, especially the mapo tofu and dry pot. Great portion sizes, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely one of the best Sichuan restaurants I’ve tried—highly recommended!

I love their pickled cabbage fish and pepper lover the most! I always order them whenever I come here. This time I also tried their different maoxuewang and it was also a pleasant surprise! And CC’s service is good, thanks!

Great spot for Sichuan food. Everything was flavorful, and the spice was on point. The laziji was especially good — crispy, aromatic, and super satisfying. The service was friendly and quick, and the whole place had a relaxed vibe. I’d definitely come back.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was packed with flavor, and the laziji (spicy chicken) was honestly the highlight — super crispy, fragrant, and the spice was just right. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole vibe felt comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

The food at Mountain House Flushing is widely celebrated for its spicy, numbing, richly seasoned Sichuan dishes. Classics like mapo tofu, la-zi (spicy) chicken, stone-pot green pepper fish, and dry-pot specialties deliver deep, punchy flavors that really evoke Sichuan cuisine’s character.

Today we visited Pangolin Restaurant, and we had a wonderful dining experience.
Our server, Xiao Yu, was exceptionally warm, attentive, and thoughtful. He patiently asked if we had any dietary preferences or restrictions.
One of the dishes tasted different from what we had before, and when we mentioned it, he immediately informed the manager and kitchen staff.
We were very pleased with the service and will definitely come back again!

The ambience was excellent - made you feel transported back to a Chinese dynasty that encouraged harmony btwn nature and man; service was excellent with my 2 servers (Xiao Yu & Ya Rue) helping me out with ordering, as it was my first time there, and ensuring my allergies were addressed to prevent any issues from arising.

The only issue I had was the food - my disappointment is not that it’s a modern take on Sze Chuan food (which I was looking fwd to trying out), but rather the seasoning was not balanced with the dishes and thus making even a classic simple dish such as Kung Pao Chicken taste unappealing. We also ordered the Sze Chuan fish in sour cabbage soup and unfortunately the flavoring was also lacking as the various ingredients didn’t meld together nor was the flavor deep. The mung bean noodles was alright, the double cooked pork with leek was too salty for my taste, also ordered a cold chicken dish with green soup (forgot the name) and the flavor profile was not to my taste however the best dish out of the ones we ordered was the stir fried string beans. Lastly got a sour plum drink which was house made. I think it’s still worth a try to go and try other dishes as they have many - hopefully there are better ones than the ones I picked.
