I should’ve known nothing fun would be coming out of a place called Taco Fun, but I took a chance bc I was hungry and the reviews weren’t bad.
Upon stepping inside you are whisked away to a magical place where the walls are bare and covered in old stains. A few small faded photos of every food except tacos adorn one wall, and the grimy wooden chairs have coffee cup icons cut out of their backs… because, you know, taco fun.
The counter is a mysterious walled area in the back where eventually someone will emerge from the depths of the kitchen to take your order.
Once your order is ready, he brings it out to the counter and calls to you instead of walking the extra 6 feet around the counter to where you are sitting. Glad I tipped.
Finally the “fun” begins. Admittedly, the fiestaware plate was a nice touch, but the food left much to be desired. The beef chili enchiladas were essentially canned chili paste wrapped up in flour tortillas and microwaved with cheese on top. No sauce. Instead, it came with a tiny ramekin of cold salsa juice, which he had the nerve to charge me for an additional one. The rice and beans were both bland and the guacamole paste thing was an unnatural green and tasted like it came out of a tube.
An extra star only because the “enchiladas”weren’t terrible tasting, and to my surprise/relief did not cause any stomach issues later. But seriously, how does this place even exist?

Great place, been going here since middle school. Owners are hard working and good people. Food tastes great, i recommend the chicken quesadillas and chili tacos. Establishment is clean even when they get packed with middle school kids. Hope to be back soon!

I've been coming here for years. Their salads are the best, and recently, their steak tacos have also improved a lot. Many of their items tend to be a hit or miss situation but once you figure out which ones are just fine and which ones are good, you'll find yourself coming back often!
