Great soft serve (6 flavors, including matcha and yuzu (Japanese citrus)) on a nice little fish cone with a delightful red bean filling, making it a delicious Instagrammable dessert for $9. They also sell mochi donuts (8 flavors at $3.25 a pop).Staff were really friendly and allowed sampling of the soft serve and allowed me to get two flavors in a single cone. There is an ice cream cup option for those who don't want the taiyaki.I really loved having the yuzu option as it is very rare to find an acidic fruit I've cream flavor. Furthermore, it was delicious.

They literally only had vanilla ice cream and green tea, so to sum it up they didn't have 90% of what was on their menu. I would say go to the one in williamsville.

I came in with my friend to get some ice cream, i didn’t get the fish waffle cone (since its so big) but I had the matcha ice cream… incredible! This is probably the best matcha ice cream I’ve had in Flushing. The ice cream was creamy, not too sweet, and tasted like real matcha (unlike some other matcha ice creams). The prices have increased though so be mindful of that before you go. Will come back!

Matcha and hojicha ice cream on red bean taiyaki, with rainbow mochi and wafer stick. Refreshing in the hot weather. It melts fast. Taste natural and cool.

The ice cream was delicious. The cone wasn't too hard, perfect texture. We tried so many different flavored donuts but our favorite was the Oreo one. Definitely recommend if you want to try something different.

I tried the Taste of Japan and it was fantastic. Everything about it was awesome, but the mini rainbow mochi sealed the deal for me.

First time trying Taiyaki, and it was very pleasant. The ice cream itself was good, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the shell which housed the ice cream was phenomenal. Imagine having cold ice cream and a warm waffle. That is the best way I can describe it. On a final note, there was some red bean paste in the "tail" of the fish. It was sweet, but had a slightly coarse 'beany' texture, which I wasn't too interested in. All in all great experience and perfect for the summer.

So many thoughts about this shop. First off, it's deserving of a 3 star, mainly for customer service. My friend chose to order the mochi donuts, we decided to go for the dozen. ube - the sweetest of the bunch, like you'd get diabetes from eating it black sesame - strong black sesame flavor, just sweet enough Sakura - just okay. not much to say about it (seasonal flavor) matcha - had the real matcha bitterness to it, but not sure I enjoy it on a mochi donut as I would in a drink cookie monster - don't love it nor hate it. just meh Nutella - I personally didn't like it. didn't give me that hint of Nutella. Also overall they're okay to try but not something I'd buy again. There's such a strong oily taste, it just didn't sit right. The ice cream itself was alright. We ordered the taste of Japan - green tea icream with Sakura ice cream mixture and I originally ordered the matcha better, however the matcha was not coming out properly so the worker there kindly asked if I wanted to change the ice cream to another flavor. The Sakura ice cream was pretty nice, hint of floral soft serve. A bit of a sticky dessert with the drizzle. The shell itself I wasn't a fan of as the red bean paste is all the way on the bottom and by then the ice cream is gone. Do it for the gram but I'd probably go elsewhere for a dessert craving.

This was my very first time trying out this place, it's absolutely a hidden gem!!It was in the food court, which was kinda difficult for me to find since I've never been in this area before, but when I did find it I was blown away with all the different combinations. Staff was also patient and great!!

swell ice cream. Tried the blossom and the matcha swirl fish cone. it was okay, dont really care for this combo. its good to experience the different flavors and branch out from the usual! The ice cream from here in general is really good! Its not overly sweet which i love!

I got the Green Tea Matcha icecream I'm the fish cone. As well as a donut. Both were super delicious. I wasn't thrilled with the cone. Seemed overcooked... but it was cute ! Highly suggest

Coming to NYC from a southern state this place was amazing. And it was a great experience for my daughters 16th birthday.

Been coming here since it opened. The last few times I've come they have sold out of the fish cones. Despite being open for another three hours. Pretty disappointing. I would understand running out 1-1.5 hours prior to closing but three hours.

Tried the number 4 matcha taiyaki. It looks a lot better than it tasted. The ice cream tasted watered down and faint didn't taste sweet or strong. Price is steep too , almost 9 dollars for that small dessert. It made a mess while I was eating it. I ate it in the winter as soon as I got it but it still was melting , dripping , and the crunchy part of it made so many crumbs and powder everywhere on my black jacket. Cool looks and design but overall I don't recommend.
