The waiter was really nice and friendly. Definitely made me feel welcomed. I got the spicy katsu, tettbokki, and steamed eggs. The spicy katsu and the steamed eggs were really good but the tettbokki tasted very watery with no flavour, which was disappointing. Overall everything else was good besides the tettbokki.
i often order for pickup from here! probably my favorite kimchi fried rice in queens.
they do not joke if you ask them to make something spicy; i asked for a spicy kimchi fried rice and it almost destroyed my stomach. delicious nonetheless.
Great food
First time trying this place. Ordered chicken cutlet and udon. The chicken cutlet’s batter were crispy and good and the flavor was just about right. The udon soup was kinda on the warmer side and not hot, it would’ve been better if the soup were hot since we were here eating dinner on a cold day. The waiter was very accommodating and nice. We went on a Friday evening and we were the only patrons there. Their menu has a lot of Korean comfort foods and next time I want to try their ttekboki (spicy rice cake). I would return again.
The food was great is authentic Korean food.

The food was great is authentic Korean food.
I ordered a porter corn dog and cheese ball through Uber, halfway into my corndog I was disgusted when realized a fake eyelash extension was fried in with the batter.
After talking with them they said most of the workers are guys. So the only other reason is that the lash must have gotten on one of their shirts from a friend or a gf.
Its pretty angering, but it is what it is

I had a lunch with friend and came back twice after that.
“Basak” in Korean means crispy and this restaurant knows how to make katsu and tempura crispy!
Perfectly cooked Don katzu every time and udon, spicy ttepoki (rice cake), soba were on point!
Place is clean, young vibe and service is efficient!
Parking is on the street with meter parking but it’s worth it!

Food was extremely old and soggy. I'm not feeling good even as I write this. Hoping I don't get food poisoning. Find somewhere else to get your pork cutlets...

Idk where these "wonderful" experiences are coming from but my takeout experience has been the complete opposite. The worst I've experienced so far. I understand takeout isn't gonna be like sitting in in a restaurant where the food is right out the kitchen but the food I got today was as if it was sitting out since noon. The fried shrimp was all soggy, the pork cutlets had this weird after taste as if it's been fried numerous times in really old oil. Our family couldn't finish nearly half of the food and threw it all out. Complete trash served to customers.

I had tteokbokki delivered today. Is this the right amount?
I ordered ramen noodles + tteokbokki, but there were 2-3 rice cakes in the tteokbokki, 3 small pieces of oden, and a lot of tteokbokki soup. It was so bad that it could be called just ramen... It was delicious, but it was so shocking that I am leaving a review.
