Didn't like that the donuts were so oily .

They get their donuts shipped from the city so if you go right at opening, sometimes you may have to wait a while for it to show up (I waited ~1hr) but they'll have other non-donut items. The donuts are the same quality as the ones in the city and these guys are one of the OG Mochi Donut brands that kind of added to the craze when it first came out. Chewy, delightful, not too sweet (sometimes feels like it could be more sweet imo) and easily share-able due to the pon de ring style which is like a ring of munchkins that you can tear off. Using rice flour for the dough creates a subtle sweetness, and a gentle chewiness that is so satisfying texture-wise, and quite the departure from your American donuts that are very sugary, very fried, and very sweet. They have a handful of staple flavors and a few rotating flavors to keep things interesting. I like the cookies and cream one and matcha crunch!

Wow superrr delicious and fun texture!! These donuts were chewy and soft at the same time, I don't think I'll ever have regular donuts ever again. They really live up to the hype. I loved the black sesame the most. It isn't too sweet, I could honestly have 5 of these in one sitting.

Very good, fresh baked mochi donuts and ice cream! My grandkids love them, good to bring when I see them.

I did not like the flavor of these donuts they are bland and overpriced. I’ve had better at other spots in flushing.

Compared to other mochi donut places in the city, the donuts here fall short of expectations. We tried the Purple Pebble and Yuzu. The fried taste of the donut overpowered the flavors which was disappointing. It didn't really taste like a mochi donut either. Not to mention the amount of icing on the donuts were minimal and messily applied. If you really want a mochi donut, go to the city instead.

Been meaning to try their Mochi donuts for awhile now. The store is located in the further end of the Queens Crossing food court, a few shops away from where the restrooms are located. I wanted to get more donut flavors but just opted with my favorite flavor--the cruncha matcha donut. For $3 a piece it was decently worth it. I had imagined it to be very light because of its appearance but it was a good snack (somewhat filling like a munchkin). The donut has a nice matcha bitterness and wasn't too sweet. The shape made it fun and easy to eat. The look overall was pretty simple, unfortunately for mine much of the rice krispies for the "cruncha" part of the name were non-existent though. I was able to pay with my credit card and the staff that helped me was quick.

I'm late to the mochi donut craze, thanks to the pandemic. Now that I'm vaccinated and made it to town, I made sure I satisfy my pent up desire during this trip. After sowing my foodie oats at the nearby New World Food Court, I located Taiyaki 2 blocks away inside the Queens Crossing.I was the only one right after it opened at noon. I ordered the Cruncha Matcha, which has the mocha glaze topped with Rice Krispy. I didn't have a "warm" fuzzy feeling when she took one from the storage box. And my hunch was correct, the donut didn't feel freshly made as it wasn't the least bit warm and it was tough outside. So much for being the first customer for the day, only to get the leftover from the previous night. Not sure the exact arrangement, but I think the donuts were made by The Dough Club but sold via Taiyaki NYC.In terms of taste, it wasn't overly sweet which was a good thing. The mochi inside made the chew doughy; however, there was a bit of a funny (yeast?) after taste which I didn't like. All I can say was it was a disappointment for me in many aspects.

Excellent yuzu donut. So lemony and chewy. Worth the carbs. I tried to pay with cash but they said no cash for donuts. Wow must be the only place in Flushing that does not accept cash! I rarely carry cash anyway. Seems every time I go to Flushing, I spend all my cash. The credit card does not seem like it's spending until you have to pay the bill.

After trying various Mochi doughnut places in the flushing queens area, this place makes it on the list as a place to try when you're in downtown flushing. They are located in queens crossing at the Taiyaki stand. They have seasonal flavors.I appreciate the effort in making the flavors pungent and stand out. As a matcha lover, I was impressed with the darkness of the matcha and it actually tasted like matcha. The current seasonal, Thai tea, did taste like Thai tea! I wished the actual doughnuts looked like the advertised photo on the menu but the flavors definitely pulled through. I'd highly recommend the matcha flavor if you're a matcha fan.

I finally don’t have to travel all the way to Chinatown and get them! Friend introduced me to them last year and I couldn’t get over their taste. My favorites are the matcha and berry!
