The Globe has been my Cheers bar since moving to NYC in January 2019, when I knew nobody. The staff is tremendously kind and caring, and need to be paid overtime for sometimes being my unofficial therapist...I have countless amazing memories playing pool here and doing karaoke on Saturday nights. I often bring snacks and food since they don't serve it and even have a tradition of trading sour candy with Amanda. Rena does the best job of keeping this place a safe space where all feel welcome and respected. I direct everyone here when they are in town.

Friendly staff and regulars. Lots of space to have a party. Pool table, Dart Board, board games, lots of TVs, Back Yard, jukebox, karaoke nights, trivia nights. They don’t serve food there, but you can bring your own in, as long as you are buying drinks.

This is a great Bar with great staff. I've been here several times and always a good time. The owner does a good job of keeping out miscreants.The Globe has a backyard patio, pool table, darts, board games, trivia and karaoke nights. What else can you ask for? oh yeah, a bunch of BIG Tvs for all your sports needs. A must visit when in Sunnyside Queens.

Happened to pass by and saw that they were having karaoke on a Saturday night- decided to stop by and sing a song or two because the karaoke host seemed nice and no one else was singing or tipping him. We were picking a song when the bartender, an older woman, came out from the bar, intercepted us, and told us in a rude and pushy tone that we weren’t allowed to sing karaoke unless we bought a drink. Been to a lot of karaoke spots all around the city and have never experienced that before. So we left. Too bad because we were going to tip the karaoke host nicely.
