⚠️⚠️Okay! When I was about to order, I watched her take the fish fillets she had left in the kitchen to fry and put them back on the front bar! When the lady realized I saw her doing this, she pretended to take some from the yuba shop next door and put it back in the pot! ! I used to find it strange why the prices for one person and two people were 20 and 35 respectively! They all take home a box! It turned out to be such a cut of corners! I don’t understand how a store like this can stay here for so long! When she put the item on the scale, the price displayed was definitely different from the price she told me! I liked the taste of her house before and didn't mind paying an extra 2 or 3 dollars! (If you don’t mind it, it will only make them more and more accustomed to it.) But now the food has no other taste except spicy! ! When I caught them stealing that day, I kept standing there staring at the pot I paid for! The wok master inside kept looking back at me! (He was paying attention to see if I saw it. If I didn't pay attention, he would steal the thing again)! Boycott such unscrupulous merchants. The price increase shows our understanding! But they don’t even have the most basic ethics of doing business! Won't buy anything here again! 👎👎
I ordered spicy hot pot and three chicken wings for 51 yuan. The kitchen finished cooking and they were all gone. I was speechless😓
This used to be my favorite place when I was in school. It used to be for 30 dollars we can get a lot like A LOT for three people. However, since last year I went to order for take out I realized it got so pricey. I went yesterday to order dry pot and I realized that when she weight the food, it stopped when it was 20$ something but then all of the sudden the number weight scale moved again and that she didn’t even wait for the scale to stop to tell me the cost. I was fine with everything like this since I don’t eat it very often anymore. However, it was too oily so before I eat it I let it go through water (bottled water) and so it can reduced some oil to gets to my body. As I was eating I saw this black thing with legs, and I know it has to be an insect ?️ and I stopped eating and took a picture. I understand that the hygiene issue is a concern down the New world mall since they opened so many years, but I am just shocked that imagine I didn’t washed it through with water, this cute little insect is going to my body? They really need to clean that spot. I have took picture but I don’t know how to attach it.
It’s almost 50 dollars for 2 people, (there’s only one box) and it feels more and more expensive, but the taste is getting worse and worse. I ordered spicy food and the vegetables didn’t have any flavor at all.

I said it was my first time to eat here, and it was far different from the restaurant next door, only 21 pounds! ! ! I don’t plan to give food without asking.

They charge a $5 dine in fee which I paid when I paid for the meal. However, when the food was ready it was for take out, she tried to say it was a mistake but didnt offer give my $5 back. I had to ask for it.Very pricey food also. A bowl for 1 cost me $40! I would avoid.
Deliciousness..we drive an hour for this. =]
too expensive. The eldest sister who caught the code was very aggressive, and she didn't want any money to catch her. There will be no next time. Please pay attention to lightning protection! Bad review Bad review Bad review

The dry hot pot tasted alright. Very pricey. $13 per pound. That tray in the picture cost $80. Service was pretty good.
Dry hot pot is so good, the selection of meats and vegetables is not vast but it’s more than decent. Pretty affordable too. It’s great to share a bowl with a friend (aka good hangover food). Bring cash as a deposit for the bowl!
This place has gone downhill. I was a frequent customer when they opened. Before the pandemic, I came here and ordered my usual food but turns out they changed the policy from 2 rice to 1 rice if you spend $20. The lady only put beef and tripe into the big bowl for me at that point. When I found out about the policy, I told her that I always got 2 rice bowls and didn’t realize they recently changed the policy. She grew impatient and yelled if I still wanted the food. Because of her nasty attitude, I declined and this is when she started cursing my mother out in Mandarin. Real professional, tianfu! So for over three yrs I boycotted this mala store and just this weekend, I ordered delivery from chowbus and did not remember that this was the restaurant that gave me garbage customer service. I ordered $33 worth of food and when I received the food, let me tell you how angry I was. For meat…..It was suppose to be 3 portions of fatty beef and 2 portions of tripe. I only received a top layer of beef and 3 pieces of tripe for two people. 75% of my dish were veggies, mostly cabbage. Whoever picked out the food has no knowledge of ratios and proportions.I highly suggest you avoid this corner mala place at all costs. Buy your mala from the place in front of the escalators, at least they won’t curse you out.
I wish Northeast New Jersey had a mara xiang guo with such a deep taste. The spiciest taste is really very spicy. The leftover mara xiang guo is delicious even if you take it home and eat it with fried rice.
