Since we don’t speak Korean, we were treated with absolutely no respect; we had no service while every other table was constantly tended to. The food was nothing special; the pork belly was okay, while the spicy pork bulgogi was actually the worst I’d had. I would not recommend this place to fellow non Korean speakers.

I have been going to this spot for years. The old couple who used to own the place sold it, and currently in the hands of new owners. Great food, great vibes, reasonable prices. Wait staff is great, especially the petite Hispanic lady very attentive and generous with portions. My go to spot when I'm craving for some Pork belly bbq. 100% recommend.
Not kid friendly though, young kids / toddlers can easily burn themselves in the hot plate in the middle of the table.

low key spot for unpretentious Korean food. the cold noodle was bomb. it’s served in a freshly carved ice bowl. We ordered fried rice and the server made it hibachi style in front of us in the grill. overall a very decent spot for a cheap meal.

It was really hot because the air conditioner didn't come out.
It’s really amazing to see BBQ on a huge plate. Delicious.

Worst Korean restaurant I have ever been. The banchan is the minimum. The meat and vegetable quality are both bad. I’m very sure the eel is the packaged one from the grocery store. The service is bad too. The manager seems very angry and has an attitude. 2 Spanish waitresses serve all the tables. Not sure how they got the approval from the Michelin. What a joke. No AC, even the restaurant is hot.

Was served old bulgogi already overcooked throughly before it came to the grill….it should’ve been raw as this is a kbbq spot.
Awards must be quite dated.

This is the best pork belly in New York. I cannot even describe how many days of the week i think about this meal. The bean sprouts are also so delicious after they’ve been grilling for a while. Kimchi Jigae and the naengmyeon are also some of the best around!! The price is also great for the portions you get.

First two times coming here was fine, not pricy at all and food is good, nothing to complain about. Third time I had such a terrible experience and I have decided to don’t come back ever again, this all came from the manager or owner of the place. I own a restaurant and I would never treat my customers that way. As business owners, we have to give the best experience to our customers so our business can succeed, and we also have to be good with our employees. I was eating with my couple, we pay, we tipped and we started to yell it us because the tip was not enough. We were surprised since this is the first time this happen in this restaurant and in every single restaurant I have ever been. When we were leaving the restaurant he started to yell at us again and close the door of the restaurant in our faces. Save this review so this doesn’t happen to you.
Super delicious! The food was quickly prepared in front of us. The food was delicious. Pork and beef was of high quality. The end was top off with fried rice. The fried rice was a perfectly ending to our dinner. Love this place. Recommend to everyone.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday and our party of 2 was seated quickly. The service here is no frills, very to the point, getting the job done (which was fine) but I felt a bit confused at times.
For food, we got 2 servings of the pork belly, fried rice w/ cheese, and the cold noodles. Overall, I thought the food was okay. The banchans were good and had a bit of variety. The servings of the pork belly were decently sized although for the price and the area, I thought they could've been a bit bigger. If I came again, I would pass on the cold noodles - felt store bought and the ice bowl felt like a gimmick.

My nephew who lives in Maryland loves this place. I visited for the second time with my nephew and had a very satisfying dinner.
Kid-friendliness: It can be a bit noisy when traveling with infants.
