I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday for November 29 on November 11. Unfortunately my son went into icu because of pneumonia on November 28 morning. So I called to cancel my son’s birthday cake around 1 o’clock November 28. The man answered he told me it’s too late to cancel it because they start preparing the birthday cake already and the birthday cake will be ready by tomorrow morning. This is terrible service. I will never come back.

I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!

staff decided to close the Livermore location early, staff was rude about it. Stated they only closed like 2 min early. I was there before that and the chairs were already up and floors mopped so was obviously closed way before then. I had gone in earlier in the day to see what they had and was coming back with my daughter. Needless to say we will NOT be back.

The iced lattes are nice, light coffee, not burnt or stale tasting, espresso added was a good choice. I'm not sure about other locations but I enjoyed the music here and seeing all of the people walk by the busy street. The yuzu pie is always my go-to favorite, my boyfriend had an apple twist pastry, it was tasty. We also tried a flaky, syruppy almond pastry thing that we took to go, it held up nicely after a few hours in my purse. If you prefer savory or want something less sweet try the kimchi bun or the spinach and cheese pastry.
