This small bakery has the best pork floss scallion rolls in NYC for only $2.50. The roll is fluffy with pork floss on both ends. Tons of scallion on top adding a lot of flavor. Light sweet mayonnaise between to bound the roll and pork floss together.Didn’t try their other pastries they all look pretty good. Make sure to bring cash, it’s cash only

Terrible service I asked for breakfast first it took a long time second the eggs were super cooked and the breakfast is not like that.. I told the lady at the counter and with an attitude she replied you had to see them order there is nothing to solve I told her but not like that There is the photo, they are supposed to sell what they show and also I never ask anything, it just came out as the cook felt like it #B2 Eggs Platter, put the original photo of an egg that was slightly burnt

Like others have said before don't come here due to bad service!I came here over 3 times and the same rude lady that I dealt with, told me today, "cash only" as if I hadn't been here in the past 3 days ?,

Food is good but the service is terrible. Always make sure you have everything before you leave if you do take out, something is always missing.

First time enjoyed the food the only and disappointment I only had as that I had to pay for Tupperware that I shouldn't have to spend over $100 etc..

I concur with most of the evaluations. Stopped in totally on a whim while exploring the neighborhood while on a pure four day food trip. Wanted to see if it's true, that it's hard to find a bad empanada. The result? What I picked up that came with a small container of green hot sauce was quite fine, and I suppose if you're going to serve them anywhere near the #7 train you'd better be on your game because there are a lot of great choices there. I didn't find the inside to be particularly inviting and service was curt and made one feel like they'd imposed on the person that waited on me. Oh well. Still, not a bad choice for the area.

The person who answered the phone is rude and rushing you for your order. She hung up on me before letting me finish. Went to pick up the food and the cashier had a nasty attitude and rude face the whole time. Didn't even talk once and when I finished paying, she just placed the money on the counter and walked away. There was only one other customer sitting down eating so it wasn't like she was in a rush to attend other customers. Also, when I checked my food at home, my order was wrong. I got french fries instead of homefries. Horrible service!

Not sure why a place like this doesnt accept $100 bills or cards. It says cash but make sure its not a $100 bill. Or $50. Never ever coming back here again. Also the lady at the cashier is very rude. Zero stars. Theres other places around hereMuch more better.

Back in 2019 I ordered a cake that I found on the internet , after trying many bakeries, I stumbled upon this one and asked if they worked with fondant ? And they told me they did , so I showed them the picture of the cake and they said I was possible . I forgot what filling I got but it was sponge cake and I completely loved it ! I was amazed on how well it resembled the photo and how good it tasted ! The first picture is the idea I got off instagram , and the next two pictures are the actual cake !

We were looking for a place to have breakfast early on a Saturday morning, and we saw that there were empanadas at Vanilla Cafe so we decided to give it a go. We didn't have super high expectations for the empanadas, since that doesn't seem to be what they specialize in, but boy were we surprised! The only options they had available were chicken and beef ($2 each). We got one of each. Each empanada came with green hot sauce. The green hot sauce was so good and added a nice kick. The empanadas were warm, crunchy, and so satisfying. The filling was shredded meat with potatoes and it was not too overwhelming for the palate. It was not overly oily either. The dough was crunchy and I'm not sure if they were fresh, but they surely did taste like they were! I hope they have other flavors of empanadas the next time I am craving them. They were such a pleasant surprise! As for the bakery breads they sell, they look pretty big and I would be interested to try them in the future.

This is my favorite bakery to get fish sandwiches in the morning. Its fresh and has amazing flavor. The ladies there are super sweet. If you go there enough, they start to remember who you are and will make some small talk with you. I also come here for their walnut bread, but that doesn't come out until late morning/mid-day. Their fish sandwiches are fresh and so good. They also make some mean breakfast sandwiches. I usually get a fish sandwich and a ham and egg sandwich to bring to work, and even after an hour, it's so good. I 100% recommend coming here for breakfast if you can! They also have breakfast platters and noodles.
