My mom and I have been to this store many years ago and had a wonderful experience. The both of us got sponge cake and buns. The food was wonderful, and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was that some people were in there, and many other things.
It’s ridiculous how racist and unclean this bakery is. I went inside and the lady behind the counter was eyeing me like a hawk while she was ignoring the East Asians. Could be just a weird lady but I felt unsafe and couldn’t even look around. I hope she knows no one is interested in stealing week old hard as rock buns, like chill lol
This is truly a hidden gem. The store is small and look really old/rusty. But when you got inside, its a completely clean, neat and well organized place. There are not much bread but everything look good and yummy. I saw a lot of student came inside also, so I trusted this place.
The experience is more than I expected. Besides the fact that bread is really cheap- Around 2$ for a bread? You can’t find something like this anymore.
Besides they have discount, 2 bread for 3$ for late hour. So it’s really a community actions.
The only thing bad about this place is the location is not eye catching, i wish they be known more. Definitely will visit it again
Bread so soft and Yummy. You should come to try.
My mom and I went to this place many years ago, and my mom bought many buns, including ham and egg, butter, and milk tea. The food and drink was good. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was lively, with lots of people buying things.
Kid-friendliness: This place is kid-friendly because families can take their kids here for a meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible because of its flat surface.

My current favorite melon cakes ("wife cakes") in Queens or Manhattan. The lotus paste cake and the red bean cake are also very good, though the the red bean cake may be slightly sweeter than I prefer - but the melon cake far surpass any others I can find searching in these two boroughs.

Love their sliced bread and triangle cake!
Their Pullman white bread is undefeated. They make the best Asian style sandwich bread in NYC. I usually get their extra large loaf and freeze to use as needed. So good! Also a great place to get a ham and egg bun and Swiss roll cakes.

When I was a child back in 2000 there was a big cat here. He was always looking out the window through the glass. That cat was there till late 00s or to early 2010s. It’s a usual Chinese bakery, but for people like me who grew up here. It’s one of those nostalgic places that are still here.
