I ordered a spicy hot pot at Zhangliang Malatang tonight. The front desk staff made a mistake and gave me the hot pot that someone else ordered. When I got home and opened it, I found that it was not mine. There are no shrimps or fish fillets. No wonder he came over to me just now and asked me what the number was. ???? So annoying

One of the only sit-in dry pot restaurants in Queens. Clean area, tons of dry pot options, reasonable price and meals were made quickly. Only thing I would request is water for the meal.

I came here with my boyfriend multiple times already, we tried dry noodles style and hot pot soup style but we like the soup style the most! Soo yummmm. Price is acceptable, place is clean and no line. We definitely keep coming back!

We totally loved the malatang! My husband swears it's super authentic and brought back memories from 20 years ago. For me, it's hands down the best malatang in town, and the place itself is really clean and tidy. Can't figure out why there are so many negative reviews though. Our recent dine-in experience was actually really awesome!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!tried ordering on uber eats, but something told me to check reviews first. BUGS IN THE FOOD EVERYWHERE! not even like just flies or something, but cockroaches, A WHOLE CRICKET, MAGGOTS???? absolutely disgusting. and people are saying the servers have attitude too? this has to be a money laundering front or something.

I ordered Beef Malatang and there were only three or four slices of beef in it. How about just ordering Vegetable Malatang? Anyway I will never eat it again
The food is mediocre. Many veggies are not fresh too. What’s more important, it’s not an honest business. The final charged amount ($75) appeared on my credit card is more than the amount I suggested ($68). Clearly they add more tips behind the scene. Definitely not worth the price. Avoid this restaurant.

The taste is okay, but it’s too cheesy. Especially the set meal recommended by the boss. It’s all noodles and fried dough sticks. I even added vegetables and there weren’t even two pieces. There was even less meat.
