Not sanitary. There is a guy who doesn't work there (must he a friend, who is not in uniform) handled my containers. The chef gave him the container with sushi and the guy put the cover on. The guy came from outside from smoking and that smell is smeared onto the container from his hand. They guy kept on handing his cellphone to the chef and the chef kept on touching the phone while making my sushi. The chef did take off the glove while touching the phone but touched the glove after touching the phone, otherwise how would he put it back on? He didn't wash hand after touching the phone. On top of it, the lady who gave me the order gave me incomplete food, which was only taken back by the chef saying that he is still working on one of the dishes of mine. So clearly the lady has no idea what the order supposed to look like. I'm sure all of these mistakes can be fixed easily but that was my experience.

Tried them for the first time. Missed them before since they are kind of sandwiched. Food was good - veggie udon noodle and salad. It was almost closing time so had to do takeout and whatever was quick. Enough tables to dine in for small groups. Service was good. Took me a little time to understand but rest was great. Keep it up.

A-Sushi is an absolute gem in Forest Hills! Their poke bowls are hands down the BEST in all of NYC—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every ingredient tastes incredibly fresh, from salmon to the perfectly prepared rice and condiments. The portions are generous, and they don’t skimp on quality.

Beyond the poke bowls, the sushi is top-notch, with beautifully crafted rolls that rival high-end spots in Manhattan. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, A-Sushi never disappoints.

If you’re a poke lover, this place is a must-visit. I’ve tried poke all over the city, and nothing comes close. Highly recommend!

Very rude service. Used to come all the time but won't be coming back. I'm a regular customer and one of the rolls fish was too raw and not fresh looking. I thought that because I'm a regular costumer they would at least refund me but instead the lady on the phone gave a rude reply and accused me of lying. I ended up going back in person and showing them the uneaten sushi. The lady inside said we wont serve you anymore and tried to charge me extra instead of refunding me. I ended up leaving without a refund. Shame on them they lost a client. Been going there with my dad since 2022 and we spend hundreds of dollars for their sushi. Well not anymore. They are always rude.

Found this gem on DoorDash and it is going to be my new favorite place. My first order was the S**t in the lobby roll special and shrimp tempura. Both were very good and enjoyed it. Second order, was the dragon roll and salmon avocado roll. Both also very good. My favorite is def the salmon roll. Will def recommend.

Nice small and inexpensive sushi shop tucked a bit away from Queens Blvd with just enough room for seating. The sushi is spot on. Nice fresh, delicious taste to it along with the complimentary soy sauce, Wasabi and pickled ginger. For the lunch special they do give you a choice between miso soup and salad. I opted for the salad since I've already had miso soup many times over with my sushi, but I should have stuck with the soup. No knock on the salad but I was not a fan of the dressing they had on it, rendering the salad flavorless. I won't factor it into my scoring because the sushi was done and plated well plus the service was very accommodating.

My favorite Sushi spot... they have very quick service.
The atmosphere is nice in the evenings, ambiant lighting and not so loud Music ❤️.
It's small but worth the experience.

Very small and quaint sushi spot on busy Austin street. Very quiet and intimate vibe. Love the exposed brick. Seating is limited . Literally 5 tables. A lot of choices on the menu. I went with the dragon roll. Trying to get out of my comfort zone.
Ugh!!! This roll TOTALLY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! I think the mango drizzle combined with the mango and ginger, take it to a whole other level. DEELISH!!!

Vegetarian options: Vegetables, fish, rice.

Parking: Parking and driving on Austin street is a nightmare. May have to drive around and park in side streets.
