I go to Agora Taverna every week because the food and service are both excellent!!!! The service team (Diego and Sandy) is wonderful and the food is the most delicious food I have ever tasted. I have taken my relatives and friends to Agora and everyone is in love with the atmosphere and their food. The food is fresh daily and absolutely delicious! Everyone should visit Agora taverna and bring their friends and family! You will keep going back for more and more!!!Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian pasta delicious!!!! Consistently exceeds our expectation! I have come to Taverna Agora five times in the span of 6 months. The food is consistently fresh and high quality, and the portions are generously served. The staff is consistently hospitable, attentive and accommodating. The interior has a clean and fresh look, tables are nicely spread out so that even during busy hours, we can enjoy a good conversation at the table. The food here is fresh and consistently good! They have excellent customer service as well. This has become our go-to spot in the neighborhood. They’re also dog-friendly which is a huge plus as dog owners.
The restaurant always gives a free piece of cake. My waiter hands me the bill without the cake. I had to remind him to get it. He was very inattentive. The food is good but they never change the menu. String beans and lemon potatoes are the only vegetables. Portions are large

If I could I would give this place a 3.5 stars. This is a good local joint that produces decent food, and the prices are reasonable.Nothing to phone home about, but every restaurant doesn't need to be amazing. Local institutions like this are a staple in the community.

Hands down the best seafood in forest hills. The service and atmosphere are also top notch. Agora Taverna has some of if not the best fried calimari, it’s a must try and puts others to shame.

I’ve been coming to Agora for years and will say, the service, the food (most importantly of course) and the hospitality has never changed- always good and ever lacks. Anytime I have a lunch date in the area, I always bring friends and family here. In fact my family who visited from Italy one summer, STILL talks about the food and can’t wait to stop by next time in town. It’s clean, healthy, flavorful and the ambiance makes you feel like you took a trip to Greece. A must visit!
