If you have a sweet tooth for pastries cookies or even bread I would strongly recommend Andre's. They may be a little shop but the quality of their products that they bake is fantastic. I am sure that if you try it once you'll always go back. Best bakery in Forest Hills Rego Park area.

It’s a mini bakery with all of my favorites. Love the window you already see the cheese danish and their “siblings” Multiple times I got Hungarian sweets or biscuits from here…The cheese amazing my latest time was a bit hard and dry (maybe because was a cold day) but I warm up in the oven (you can do microwave also) and feels like just freshly baked. Dobos and chocolate mousse exactly made just like in my country, and the cherry pie (square Hungarian) for the pie lovers the absolutely best! Never skip the strudels!!The lady behind a counter very-very helpful and she let my mom choose the pastry whenever she would like to pick. Explained how we can order by phone, prices and payments etc. I have a very busy month so I will order couple of things here for the holidays!

I bike from Flatbush to Queens every so often, and every time I zoom down Queens Boulevard, I pass by this shop and tell myself I'll drop by and check it out...on the eve of Thanksgiving, I came on a whim after being intrigued by the tasty treats in the window. When I saw the red center and the powder sugared circles, I knew I had to get it -- Lintzer tarts, my favourite. This place is literally a hole-in the wall; the shop front is slightly bigger than a closet, but the offerings are larger than life. I resisted the urge to get anything more, so I just settled for one large Lintzer, only setting me back 4$. I think hands down this is the best Lintzer tart I've had in the city. The quality, flavour, and service all make this my new favourite.

Best Bakery in my neighborhood. Their Hungarian pastries is even better than the pastries in Budapest. My favorite are cheese biscuits, blueberry pie and rugelach.

I love this place. Great pastries, cakes, and pies. My go-to is the chocolate croissant which is just so nicely layered. They have a few kinds of cheese danish which are awesome. And little savory cheese bites (just buttery and delicious). And the little cherry and apricot cakes are amazing. Then there's the babka--their cinnamon babka is like if you had a whole rugelach cake.Bonus: around Hannukah you definitely need to try their jelly donuts (the apricot is my fave). All of their deserts are good choices when we're having guests and we want to impress.Super thankful to have such a delicious and friendly place in the neighborhood.

Came here on a mission for a friend who has been searching for this exact dessert for years. It’s pretty big! And sooo delicious. A shortbread type tart shell filled with a tower of chocolate mousse and completely dipped in chocolate that hardens to a cool shell. The woman was really nice and I grabbed a few other items while I was there because everything looked so good. Prices were very reasonable too!
