Stopped by here on Oct 31st place looked great. Awesome decorations. Great drinks. Only reason Im giving it a 3 star is because bartenders were slow. Took long to order a drink even when they walked right past me at the bar unattended. Had to call them over a few times. They were paying more attention to one of the waitresses bf who was at the bar. They just kept going to him to chat instead of checking if anyone needs a drink at the bar even when they just served him a drink. Waitress just kept standing around her bf just rubbing him instead of working. He must not trust her at work since he kept watching any one ordering from her. Not something I want to see at a bar. Fix your servers and place will sure be a more often visited spot for me.

Food, vibe and drinks always good - been going here for years. Decided to write a review today after being looked over numerous times for new patrons by not 1, but 3 bartenders(one who has worked here for some time). Having an empty drink at the bar for more than 20 minutes is no good no matter what the day(there were multiple bar seats empty on a Friday evening). We’ve come here multiple times & it’s a go-to spot and were surprised to have experienced service like this.

I've always passed by this place but never gave it a chance. I'm so happy I did. On a whim a asked my mother if she'd like to try this place and off we went. I loved this place even more because they were playing music from the 90s and early 00s. Not the garbage that's out now (now I sound old). The chicken sandwich was really good and so was the big pretzel appetizer. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back!

I was at the George Clinton show on August 20th in forest hills stadium and called in here with two friends afterwards for some food and drinks. Food was tasty. Great selection of spirits and drafts.I liked the bar. The only thing I didn’t like was the attitude I was getting from one of the bartenders. The girl with the tattoos and the locs. Everything I asked for seemed like an issue to her. Asking for a side of Chipotle Mayo for my burger was the biggest inconvenience. We wanted shots of Milagros and she said she didn’t have it. We could see it on the back bar. It was unnecessary. The other guy bartending with long hair was a gent. I like the spot but that soured it for us.

They may want to consider closing the pool table during karaoke. It was not fun being jabbed with pool sticks while trying to sing :/.

I decided to have a burger and i was looking at the menu.They had a chicken sandwich called a California chicken sandwich with guacamole so i was thinking can i invent my own burger adding on to one of their own.I made a california burger adding on to one of rheirs.This burger is so awesome and big i didnt know whether to hug it,become friends with it or eat it.The bartender asked what i wanted to drink.i wanted to have a nice summer drink.Kay the bartender suggested a passion fruit mojito.If that doesnt speak of summer i dont know.Austin Public has a great staff with bartenders that can mix great drinks.The food is great pub fare and on a friday night the music is kicking.If your on Austin Street in Forest Hills you should stop on buy.

I havent gone out in a long time.I first had their steak sandwich. It was one of the best I had.The bartender made me some nice drinks.I initially went to see my favorite bartender David whichI know from elseware.The other bartenders are great.Its a nice place to meet friends.It has a nice selection of Beers if you drink beer.i had a great time and the music was good also.

Been coming here since 2015. Never had a bad time in this place. The food is excellent and worth the price. The drinks are also top notch. The bartenders and cooks really go all out. I highly, highly recommend this place.
