Came here for last minute dinner. Was not bad. I dropped a star because unfortunately because they gave me someone's else order. I understand it was super busy but that's a no no in my book. Othet wise the paella was to die for. Seafood was nice and fresh. Great string drinks.

I have been to this restaurant many times, and the food is consistently good. We have had the steak with rice and beans, the tostones, and the bacalaitos, which are amazing. We have also tried the rice with salmon and black squid sauce, and it was excellent. They have served some truly great dishes over the years, along with some of the best sangria we have ever had. The consistency and quality are what keep us coming back.

Cabana in Forest Hills has that lively, island vibe — upbeat music, friendly service, and food that feels like a mini getaway. I ordered the chuleta de cerdo (pork chops) with rice, black beans, and tostones. The sides were delicious — and lucky me, the tostones came with a garlic dip, which I happily used to give my pork chops the extra kick they needed 😉. I was hoping for a bit more Dominican-style flavor from the pork, but overall, a solid spot for good vibes and Latin comfort food done right.
Cabana in Forest Hills is hands down one of the best Latin restaurants in Queens! The food is absolutely delicious — everything comes out fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The fried calamari was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and every dish had that homemade Latin touch that makes you want to come back for more.
Service was excellent, the ambience is perfect, and the music adds a fun and lively vibe without being too loud. You can really feel the welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
Compliments to the chef for the amazing food and flavors — truly a standout dining experience. Highly recommend Cabana to anyone looking for authentic Latin cuisine and great service!
