If you're looking for a fun place to eat and drink in Forest Hills, I recommend this place. It has that dive bar vibe but the food doesn't disappoint.
However, head up, this place gets really crowded every time there's a concert at Forest Hills Stadium. It's a small space, and fills up quickly. So don't even bother going there during concert season. I'd wait either in between shows, or post-concert season.

This week I made my first visit to Dirty Pierre's. It's not like I had a choice. My husband and our friends are there several nights a week and since I am often out of town, I'd never been, so I was eager to see what the draw is - and it's really simple. Exceptional food, an amazing and friendly team and an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you're eating and drinking with a group of friends, rather than with a restaurant full of strangers. The best review I can give is that in the 4 days I've been in NYC, we've been at Dirty Pierre's 3 times - and we're already planning a return! If you're looking for great food, great prices in a warm and welcoming environment - this is the place (and the sangria alone is worth a visit!).

It's a neighborhood dive bar where lots of folks are regulars who have gotten to know each other. The food is excellent and the drinks flow freely. No reservations in any sense of the phrase in all the best ways
