I truly love the food at this place — I eat here religiously at least once a week. However, the service always feels rushed.
Last time, I went at exactly 9:15 PM and was told they were only doing takeout because they were about to close. However, the internet says they close at 10 PM.

The best Peruvian chicken in all of NYC! Even better than Pio Pio!! Prefect way to celebrate my birthday (gracias Verter!). Super friendly staff, very accommodating, juicy chicken, super fresh choros a la chalaca (must try) and amazing sangria!! Will be back soon!!

The food is great, however the waitstaff is horrible. No one answers the phone so you would figure the place is busy. So I walk over to the restaurant and there is 2 people in the dining room. What gives Inca?? I truly hope the owners read their reviews. This is how you loose customers
This restaurant use to be good now is trash, the servers are super nice but the food is horrible the cook is definitely not Peruvian, the soups not authentic, also a cockroach was on the table and another close to my salad…… Please hire a real Peruvian cook not Ecuadorian…… and they also have a B rating

I'm usually someone who likes to try new places and switch things up, but El Pollo Inka Peru just keeps me coming back—easily twice a month or more. That says a lot. The food here never disappoints. Everything is well-seasoned and consistently delicious. I haven’t made it through the whole menu yet because I keep ordering my favorites, but I definitely plan to branch out. The drinks are on point—whether it’s the Pisco Sour or the Sangria, they’ve never failed me. A solid spot with great food and drinks. Highly recommend!

My meal was 4 and some change, dude takes my five and doesn't offer my change? I probably would have let him keep it but don't round up someone's order up, I just ordered a side dish to go btw. The food is decent.

The roster chicken is good, but the delivery service is terrible. I always ask them for plates and they always forget them. They are careless. It doesn't matter how many times you tell them " please please don't forget the plates please" they still forget the. I called to request to speak to the manager, and the lady talked me that the manager wasn't there but she will make sure I will get the plates, so far has been 1 hour and I am still waiting for the plates. They are the worst for delivery.
