Ordered maduros and rice n beans. Minutes after eating some my upper tummy started to hurt me which let me know that the food was contaminated. I should have went with my guts feeling to not have ordered due to the reviews and the low stars. I will never order food from this establishment ever again.

Last Saturday night went with family members to get dinner from this place. There was a gal with a bun on her hair and on the heavier side since I don’t know her name. He was a bit rude from the start. When she asked my orders I told her one order first and she said what else I was still deciding asked if she can make the first order since it’s premade and I would tell her. With a disgusting attitude he said no I need to know both orders before I start doing the first which is mind boggling because it wouldn’t affect anything other restaurants never had a problem. I said okay. Then she never came back to help me even after I waited until she finished with other customer thinking she would come back. Then I gave her another chance waited again she went to take phone calls and ignored me. So we just left. Never want to leave a review but this was warranted and important to let the owner and customers know what happened. I will never be going back and family friends also is banning this place because of this rude worker and experience at this place.

Unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Order food for delivery at least twice a week. The send me the incorrect size so I called to verify and the manager of man was very disrespectful he basically said you have to pay extra. I know business can be really slow at times but don’t try to extort money out of me for your staff error.

We used to be happy and loyal customers. Even recommending them to friends. But they must’ve changed management, bc customer service has gone bad, and prices are higher unnecessarily. Almost half up. My experience: A female worker charged me almost $10 for a $6 order of maduros (small), and I still left her my change as tip. I didn’t think to question her bc I thought I could trust this establishment and bc I remember they had raised prices. And she also made me wait incredibly and unjustifiably long, as if they were making them On the spot. Which they were not. And now when I realized the price she charged me was incorrect and called them about it, they confirmed actual price but they’re claiming to not knowing anything about error and giving the run around to give it back. So apparently now they steal money. They aren’t even apologetic of the error by THEIR staff/worker. The women there are very arrogant. Some more than others. One woman claims he doesn’t understand any Spanish when my neighbor tried to talk to her in Spanish once; when they all clearly the staff all look fresh off the boat. Food flavor has also changed. The seasoning is on top of the food and seems excessive, and not cooked with or within for flavor. So strong.

The food here was absolutely delicious! Erica provided such a great customer & she took such good care of us for our catering order as well! Definitely would come back for the great customer service she provided us and she recommended to try some of the new wings which I’m very excited about.

A favorite takeout place of ours when we lived in the neighborhood. Food has never disappointed after dozens of orders. Mostly a takeout business, they have a small dining area at the restaurant. Highly recommend.
