Wonder how long our family of 5 will still fit into one booth. Second time here and we love the options. Everyone ordered from the menus except me. I picked what I wanted from the buffet without the sides. It was busy there today but everyone was pleasant and helpful. We shared two flans and a cheesecake for dessert. The flan was the winner by far.
4.5 stars!It's the Dominican lunch menu that drawsme here. Talk about the most underappreciated cuisine in NYC. Not one food critic, not effing one, talks about Dominican food. Here it's homestyle cooking and it is always delish. Fridays they have oxtail, this my friends is outstanding!!. Don't go late to have this, they run out real quick.
This is a hidden gem! I love the atmosphere of when I was a kid back in the 60's. The waitresses are beautiful and courteous. The owner is an old fashioned, old school kind man.
