EVERY ONE is so rude, and their menu on uber is horrid. They get upset when you call… and they say racial slurs. I dont know why they dont just close….

I had a glitch in my Uber eats delivery, called them, and they took my order by phone as well as delivered not long after.

The last place that I would come to get a breakfast bagel and a coffee. First, I’d like to say that the owner and staff at the front counter are rude. and second, they take an awfully long time to prepare your food. They took about half an hour for only one item that I ordered, which is an egg&cheese and just a coffee. Also, just a note that when I was standing on a line, they kept asking me what I’m waiting for, and I already repeated my order twice and only to find out, they haven’t even started it, 15 minutes after I ordered until the last minute. 1 star

A great place to enjoy fresh new york style bagel. If you are there early in the morning some bagels are very hot, just out of the oven and softer than a bread with a crunch. Real good quality of bagels. The cream cheese quality is also excellent. Personally my favorite bagel is sesame and blueberry. There is a good variety of various types of bagels here. You won't be disappointed with the variety and the pricing is great. If you dine in it's little expensive, but just getting bagels home is perfect for any meal. Loved the bagel aroma there.

Time for this owner to check out the most famous bagels in the city … Even Russ @ Daughters arguably the best bagels in the city, in spite of the expensive rents in Manhattan they don’t nickel and dime you when you order the bagel and lox special . Here you pay an extra $2.25 for the classic bagel with lox onion tomato and capers. Yes they think that a slice of tomato and few strings of red onion is worth 25% more than the best bagel in town. Everywhere I ate in NYC these are included when you order the bagel with lox! Here you pay $20 for the NY classic bagel with lox!

the staff here are rude and unwelcoming! there is also hidden credit card fees. Never had such a bad experience here before. There should be more training in place and transparency at this store

Employees were very rude!! On top of that, they had hidden fees for payment with credit card. Very illegal and I’m very disappointed.

Staff was incredibly rude, behaved as though we were inconveniencing them. Bagels are ok okay but not worth being disrespected

I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I used to come here very often years back and the service and food was great. It seems like the management changed. Incredibly rude staff. Not worth it

My brother has been to this place to get a bagel and cream cheese. The food was wonderful, and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was that there were people in their eating, drinking or talking.

I walked in expecting a decent experience and left feeling disrespected and stunned. As I began spelling my name for the order, the man behind the counter cut me off mid-sentence, trying to finish it himself in a mocking tone. He then turned to my husband, who was right beside me, and asked, sarcastically, if he could even spell my name. He laughed at his own sick comment like it was some kind of joke.

Then came the price. $13.45 for one tuna bagel with avocado, tomato, and onion. No sides. No extras. Just a wildly overpriced, average sandwich served with a side of attitude.

I have never encountered such unprofessionalism in a food establishment. Rude, condescending, and clearly not concerned with customer experience. Safe to say I won’t be back and I strongly suggest you don’t waste your time or money either.

🛑 Disappointed by Hidden Fees and Poor Treatment

I used to enjoy coming here, but after today’s experience, I won’t be returning. When I paid with a credit card, a convenience fee was added—without any disclosure beforehand. The cashier, who gave the name “Miha” but refused to confirm it, didn’t offer a receipt (which is required by law) and became visibly irritated when I asked why I wasn’t informed about the charge. Her only explanation? A sign might’ve fallen. As you can see from the photo—there was no sign in sight.

When I calmly asked to speak with a manager, she flat-out refused to call or connect me with anyone. The issue wasn’t the 22 cents—it was the principle. I had a right to make an informed choice about how to pay, and instead I was met with hostility and disrespect. To top it off, the manager Scott couldn’t be bothered to speak with me at all.

This used to be a great bagel spot, but transparency, professionalism, and customer care matter. If you value those things, I suggest checking out the better spots nearby—like the one on Queens Blvd and Yellowstone. You deserve to be treated with basic respect.

Edited: I just saw similar reviews about the rudeness of the staff from several past customers. No wonder.
