I ordered the beef chow fun expecting a fairly traditional dish. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing close to authentic.
As shown in the attached photo, the dish was overwhelmingly made up of celery and carrots. Authentic beef chow fun consists of wide rice noodles, beef, bean sprouts, and scallions — that’s it. There should be no celery or carrots at all, let alone this much. After picking out all the celery and carrots, before I could even attempt to eat it, and even then, there was barely any noodle or beef left.
The dish also lacked flavor entirely. It was bland and unbalanced, and the excessive vegetables only made it worse.
I’m sharing the photo because it clearly shows the issue — there was more celery and carrot than anything else in a dish that isn’t supposed to contain them in the first place. Very disappointing experience.

Probably the best General Tso's chicken I have had in Queens. Got the lunch special and was very happy with the portion. Staff is friendly. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Their scallop dishes cost the price of real scallops but they are all fake. Just a rolled rolled up carb sheets..making them look like scallop.

Horrible experience. General Tso's was tasteless (hard to do), and inconsistent pricing (you'll pay based on the mood of whoever's behind the register). They skimp you everywhere they can. This is the type of Chinese food you'd find in the middle nowhere by a desolate roadside in a run down neighborhood in Utah, not in NYC. Literally any place around here is better than this place.

We called to make an order for one dish and an eggroll that came out to $17. As others have stated, it's outrageous pricing. My wife asked me a question regarding the order and the nasty lady said she can't wait all night. We weren't even on the phone 60 seconds. So we said we won't order.
Forget this hole in the wall. It's over priced with nasty service. Order from China King or Asian Fortune. Let this place go out of business where it belongs.

If you live at Parker Towers (or anywhere nearby) and you’re not ordering from here, what are you even doing?
I’ve been a weekly regular for 4+ years (and a casual customer for a decade before that). After hundreds of orders, here’s my verdict: for the price point, the consistency is impressive.
My top picks:
- Fried Tofu & Broccoli in Brown Sauce (~$11) always on point.
- Combo Platters: General Tso’s, Boneless BBQ Ribs, Orange Chicken (lately too many orange peels, guys, let’s fix that! 🙏🏽) ~$12–13.
- Fried Wings + Shrimp Fried Rice (~$12)
- Kung Pao Chicken
The experience?
No fuss, no frills. Call in, give them your order and address, and 15 minutes later, the delivery guy shows up. (Shoutout to my delivery guy, you’re a 5⭐️ legend, bro.)
Pro tip: Delivery is free, but tip well because these guys hustle.
And to the one-star reviewer complaining about not getting more than one fortune cookie… come on. This isn’t fine dining. It’s solid, affordable, consistent takeout.
I’ve probably ordered more than anyone in the building, and yet they don’t save my info or remember me, and that’s fine. It’s simple, efficient, and exactly what I need.
Please never go out of business.
– A loyal Parker Towers customer

Restaurantji Recommends
The one thing I do not like is when I spend money wit a restaurant who do not respect your money. So therefore I would advise you not to order from them as I will not ever again. I order last week the same thing I order this week and they only gave me 1 fortune cookie but last week they gave me 2 fortune cookie. Then when I called them to bring it to there attention. He argue with me about it stating to me that it is for paying customers as if I didn’t just spend over $10 with them. Then had the nerve to tell me next time as if I’m going to order from them ever again. Customer service is the worse and I will never order from them again since my dollar doesn’t matter. Well they don’t ever have to worry. So I advise anyone to spend your money with restaurant that value you as a customer and respect you as one.

We’ve been wanting to come here for a couple of months. Today we took a long walk and ended it here. I have never been happier that we did. The food is amazing, the portions are HUGE, and the staff was fantastic. We called it in, and under 30 mins it was ready. Their lo mein was delicious and the egg rolls are fire. I recommend this place to everyone!!

The First time I went to this location the food was amazing, 2nd time the chicken wings were very small, 3rd time the food wasn't good . The service was OK.
