Went there to catch up with a friend for dinner. Only heard about this place because we saw it was participating in restaurant week. Service sucked even though we were the only ones there!!! There was a woman with curly hair in her AirPods looked like she was scrolling on her phone the entire time. Appetizers were super mid, toasts were overcooked dry and hard. My friend got the pierogis which were also meh . Entree described on the menu sounded like it was going to taste really good some Moroccan chicken. Honestly tasted weird. Very underwhelming. I couldn’t even finish. I think I was most disappointed was with the service. She didn’t even check in at all to see if we’re doing okay. Only time she vaguely asked was when she wanted to clear our plates for the dessert. I told her I didn’t like my entree when she finally came by to take the plate and asked how everything was. She just apologized and said so no box? No shit. lol if I didn’t like it and you see it was just tried then why do you think I’d want this to go?? Instead of asking me for an alternative she just takes the plate away. The desert limoncello mascarpone was good can’t complain but with the other courses I was sad I even came here tonight. Should’ve gone anywhere else. Won’t be coming back here again. Idk how there’s a 4.5 google rating to this place maybe just for the wine? I think I’d let a lot of things go if the service wasn’t absolute CRAP. she did not even refill water. She gave us ginger ale and it wasn’t even filled to the top. Charged us $4 each for water downed soda. Did I mention I’m 9 months pregnant and left the restaurant hungry after spending over $50?? I’m just baffled at her attitude and demeanor. I highly don’t recommend this place. I never left a restaurant and not tipped and here I was like for what???? For her clearing up the plates with so much attitude and annoyance. My friend and I said we now know never to come back here again. Don’t be fooled by my camera’s amazing quality.

What a lovely spot. We ordered the 3x3 cheese/meat board which was plentiful and delicious. The frugal and feta pierogies were a nice portion and delicious. The have a great wine selection and love that they have nice dessert wines as well. We had the lamb vindaloo and the braised short rib and both were flavorful and yummy. The decor, lighting, an music are great. Agreed with previous poster about TV's but at least when I was there the channels were HGTV and cooking show. The waitress/host was attentive and nice. Well worth a visit. We will come back!

I really do like this location. It's the only spot in the neighborhood to enjoy a nice glass of wine and it delivers. The music is nice, the spot is cozy and the seating is comfortable. However, the TVs behind the bar are really distracting and ruin the romantic vibes. Along with turning off the TVs, please also consider changing the lighting of the awning and add little candles to the tables. It will make a much more sophisticated experience .

There is not a single menu item that’s not worth trying. Everything is great and the owner is a great guy. Also my first time having escargot was here, very good.

Vegetarian options: The pizza, pierogies and salads are good.

Absolutely delicious meat & cheese. Vibe is fabulous. Wine is great. Owners make it just 10/10

Meat and cheese board is a yes. Everything else is subpar. Wine is nothing great. They don’t offer any soft drinks outside of coke or Diet Coke. Waitress/bartender is not hospitable whatsoever. Tried it twice thinking first time was a fluke. Won’t be trying again.

The pros: cozy, decent wine & cheese selections, very interesting and diverse food menu. The pizzas we tried were quite good. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced.

The cons: music/noise level was a bit much for a small place, server was extremely rude (she was the only one working, so I have some sympathy), from the food menu we also got a salad which had potential but something in it tasted a bit stale (likely the nuts) and made me sick.

Overall, I'm glad this place exists in the neighborhood and will come back to try it again, with the hope that a few things will be better next time.

Kid-friendliness: There's a kids menu, which I appreciate.

I come here with my friend OFTEN. The wine selection is wonderful and the charcuterie boards are delicious. The service is also great. It’s awesome to have a chill wine bar in the neighborhood!

Excellent selections of wine with plenty of expert suggestions. The food is inventive and designed to go with the wine. The family that owns, prepares and serves is warm and welcoming. My FH favorite!

When I came in the waitress told me to sit anywhere. There was a lot of customers and she was very busy because she was by herself. I still got served fairly quickly and she remembered my order without writing it down. I ordered the mussels with curry sauce, pork vindaloo and cheesecake. I only had water as my drink. The mussels were good and came with garlic bread. The curry was not that spicy even though the waitress said it was but that could just be my tolerance level. I wasn't really a fan of the curry sauce but I got it because I never had curry and mussels. Next time I'll get the mussels with tomato sauce or garlic sauce. The next dish was the pork vindaloo and rice. The rice had raisins in it. I don't see a need for raisins in rice , but when mixing the rice with the vindaloo sauce it was good. Also, it looked like they took a quarter of a pork chop and cut it up to small pieces and drowned vindaloo on it. The cheesecake was good it came with a chocolate base and caramel drizzle.

Parking: Park along Queens Blvd.
