My favorite spot to get poke bowls in Forest Hills. I love doing the build your own bowl. I usually like to get a mix of salad and white rice, then salmon, spicy salmon, tuna, spicy tuna (you get to pick two proteins) and all the other toppings that are of no additional cost. And I usually just prepare my own half of an avocado at home to go with the poke bowl (or you add $1 for the avocado). The poke bowl here is so fresh and flavorful.
Tonight I discovered that you can get the sauce on the side (you can choose up to two sauces). I prefer sauce on the side so that I can control how much sauce I want in my poke bowl (I don’t like it too saucy).
Quick service for takeout.

If you’re ever craving sushi in a bowl, this is the place to be. I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are unbeatable, and the poke bowls are the best I’ve ever had. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They’re also super generous with portions, which makes every visit feel like a steal. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out. You’ll thank me later!

For the last year and a half, this was my favorite poke place. Staff are friendly and it’s a quiet little place on Austin St. Ingredients were fresh, price was affordable for what you’d get and poke bowls were packed to the brim. However, last month I came here and got a poke bowl and was disappointed by it. Thought it was a one time thing- an off day. Decided to give them another try tonight and it was even more disappointing. For reference, my order is always the same: proteins are spicy tuna and eel with pretty much all the toppings. These last 2 times in the past 2 months, ingredients were not as fresh, quality of ingredients were not as great and flavorful, and they’ve been skimping out. All very noticeable. Sadly, I’ll have to find another poke place to go to.

We always order the poke bowl which we like a lot. But today's rice bowl was not good. The ingredients were good but the rice was hard clumps that we couldn't eat.
I always pass this place and finally got a chance to try it out. It was sooo good! The fish was so fresh. I ended up eating the entire bowl. I did half sushi rice and half zoodle with spicy tuna and fresh salmon. I can't wait to go back and have another bowl.
