Have been excited to try this spot. The inside is just as pretty as the pictures I have seen. Our waiter was super attentive. I was not a fan of the popular Mango Hawaii or Dragon signature rolls but I will be back for the Four Ways: Yellowtail which is the best deal.
This is a phenomenal hidden gem in forest hills and must have. Their korean ribs and sushi were out of this world. My mom is vegetarian and Maggie Chen (the waitress) made sure to accommodate her palate. I will definitely be coming again.
The place is beautiful and charming. And the food was delicious, i just wish the rice was a little bit more cooked! But i had a great experiencie!
Cindy is an outstanding restaurant manager who ensures everything runs smoothly, even during the busiest hours. She is always attentive to both customers and staff, ensuring smooth operations and a positive dining experience. A true asset to the team!
Loved our dinner at Mito, it’s low key with great service and food. We had a relaxing and long dinner - the Waygu Beef steam dumpling and Yellowtail Kama were the standouts! Also great drinks and dessert! Will come back!
Found this great Japanese restaurant on Resy, and I called to make an appointment for a family get together, 9 of us including an infant. They were very good in getting us all set up including a high chair. Great menu, with lots of Japanese favorites and some western cross over items as well. Servers speak English well and can help with menu guidance and suggestions for the less initiated. Huge serving sizes and great flavors. We all really enjoyed everything from appetizers through mains and desert (for those that could fit desert). The ambience was also good, we could have conversations at a comfortable volume, the lighting and the decor were pleasant and relaxing.
We had a great dinner... Extra kudos to our waitress Violet!
Usually like this place. Have ordered the 4 ways tuna at least 3-4 times and have been fine prior. Tonight…fish looks old, edges are brown 🤢 I took a bite to be sure and definitely tasted off. Don’t want food poisoning. Super disappointed and also disgusted. See photo below.
Had amazing dinner at this restaurant today. Such a surprise with quality of the food!

Always a cool vibe when I go.
Staff is quick , attentive &’ friendly
Food is always right ( although my orders are always as simple as possible lol) still never any issues. My girlfriend and I love this place. A friend of mine, put us on to their other location and we came to this location by mistake actually ( we’re not from NY) but this has been our spot ever since. ????
Vegetarian options: I believe the menu points out vegetarian and or gluten free items. I don’t remember as I write this, but I’m pretty sure

Had dinner last night, I loved the passion salado cocktail, so refreshing! My friends also enjoyed lychee martinis, which I’ve had before, and it’s super tasty. We had the edamame & roasted duck rolls for apps. I tried Fire island & Rapunzel’s hair rolls, it was so goood, my new go-to ??

I’ve had food from here several times and it’s generally a good experience. They offer creative dishes that are filling, reflecting the higher prices as well.
Having mito today for a birthday dinner was a mistake. The large tuna order tasted like rubber and was stale. The speciality roll has a sweet/dessert mango puree instead of fresh mango. It was essentially sushi dessert. Unappealing flavors and messy. Every single dish was a miss. Unfortunately made for a poor birthday meal and can’t come back as a result as the quality has visibly deteriorated over time.
Disappointed when you call for a delivery and they respond with they don’t DELIVER!
The food is a little pricey, but it is very good quality. The pork soup dumplings were some of the best I've had. Some of the descriptions are a little misleading, like the Thai crispy chicken, which read like a sweet and sour chicken but was really chicken katsu. Also, two items we ordered were not available, but we're not removed from the menu. The decor was very classy. The temperature was inconsistent; it was very hot, and then the ac would blast for 10 minutes, and then it was very hot.... I wish the ac would just blow lightly, so it's a constant cooler temperature, which would be more comfortable.

First time in this fusion place. And must say that from the decoration to the quality of food, I really enjoyed myself. We had fillet mignon and thai basil fillet mignon. The sauce on the original one was 10/10.

Ordered two sushi rolls, they were rolled loosely and fell apart when I picked them up with chopsticks, the rice either wasn't fresh or just undercooked, the jalapenos they use for the rolls are pickled and sweet, not fresh, the spicy crunch had an old frying oil taste to it. Can't speak for the other menu items, but don't waste your money on the sushi.
