The closing is temporary, they're undergoing some work. Looking forward to their return - as it's one of the few places in the area to get excellent, authentic Chinese (in this case, Cantonese) cuisine and has been going strong since I was a kid <3
My first move to Queens, New York. My very first dim sum meal was at this restaurant. My opinion is that this is one of the best dim sum places because of the quality of the dishes and the reasonable prices. When you visit for the first time, try the following dishes: phoenix claws, shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, egg tarts, and most importantly, fried shrimp balls.I've been coming here regularly for over a decade, and there is nothing in Flushing area that beats the quality of the dim sum here.
We usually go to Golden Unicorn, but we wanted to try a place that is closer to home. The food was excellent, and the service was phonenmanal(Mr. Bill is awesome!). there is no need for us to go all the way to the city anymore. I highly recommend this place!
Typical Chinese restaurant where the food comes out in no particular order, which I don't mind (just a warning for those not used to it). I liked the lamb chops and the vegetables we ordered (sauteed pea shoots and a braised vegetarian dish with mushrooms). The fried flounder was a little dry and flavorless until you dunk it in the sweetened soy sauce on the side and similarly the salt-baked chicken was helped in a big way with the ginger scallion sauce. The wait staff seem friendlier here then other Chinese restaurants but it was odd that we were here on a Saturday night and were told we had to order quickly as the kitchen was closing at 7. It seemed like a very early last call but the area is a little quiet. If I lived in the Forest Hills area I would consider this a convenient place to get authentic Cantonese cuisine but I would rather go to other places in Flushing if I had the option.
Dim sum is solid, convenient location for forest hills/kew gardens residents
I got sick (food poisoning) with the runs two hours after eating here, I had to pay up front after eating here. I think they're racist here , save your money, time and dignity just don't eat here.
I was there yesterday around 6 pm with my friend. I didn't like the food, nor the place. The lobster swimming in dirty water, the crew watching Chinese tv front of you...never go back again
Food was hot and delicious, service was fast, prices were good. Well run establishment.
Service is quickI love the dimsum and the free oranges at the end as dessert
First time having dim sum in a restaurant since COVID. This place did not disappoint! They don't have the ladies pushing the carts. Instead you check off what you want on a paper. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful, perfectly seasoned. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely delicious. Got a lunch special, it was very cheap, only $10. It is definitely a step above standard chinese american takeout. The food tastes so much better here. For lunch you might as well eat here, because of inflation all the cheap chinese places are now the same price.
One of my favorite Authentic Cantonese Chinese restaurants in Queens that is not in crazy congested Flushing or no where to park Chinatown in Manhattan
Awesome dimsum spot, great if you can't speak Chinese as they have a menu that you can check what you want and they'll take it from you then deliver the food
The best dim sum in the city, that's is saying a lot and probably will spark some controversies. I suggest you try it and decide for yourself. Dinner is hit or miss depending on what you order, there will be a learning curve. Avoid the BBQ Spare Ribs appetizer at all cost. Best time to come for dinner is 6:50pm there will be parking spots right outside the restaurant. After a decade or so, this place is still consistently good, that says a lot these days.
Crowded weekends. Not enough waiting area for table you end up standing on the street waiting. Takeout is good, but check your order . Items missing or wrong order is common after several visits we learned. Table service is good, food comes quickly.
