Very good for the price. Wonton noodle soup is $6.95. The fried was like $2 more. The soy sauce and the crunchy book choy made its delicious. At these prices I'll be a regular customer

I really enjoyed my lunch here. They have a great lunch menu. Nothing is over $7. We tried to order as much as we could. Char Sui - very tender Chicken Skewers - a little sweet but very good Chicken dumplings and pork dumplings - not sure if I liked one more than the other. Raging ramen - a little sweet and somewhat spicy but not killer. The service was friendly and the space is nice. I was shocked how busy it was. By 12:30 there was not a free table. I'll definitely come back again and again.

I have a very perplexed feeling about this place. The Raging Ramen... is not Raging enough? Now you would think that just means I can handle spicy foods...The answer would be NO! I can not! I would be breathing fire and crying into a pool of tears! If I had just one red pepper! So for all you mild spice kind of peeps. This noods is acceptable to your liking. The pork skin wrap wasn't what I expected. I was assuming it would be a crispy pork skin wrapped in a non-scallion pancake of some sort but instead I had this fried wrap? with skin? if there was any skin? I was quite confuse with the dish. Didn't taste like anything out of the ordinary. As for the Sui Mai and Beef Hor Fun. There wasn't anything particular special about them. Something you can probably get at any other Chinese Restaurant. Overall this place is A-OK. I was expecting something with a little flare but instead it fell short on that department.

A bit disappointed at my experience overall. The menu and variety looked promising, but the food just wasn't that good to want to come back. The lunch specials prices were appealing, so we decided to stop by and try a couple of dishes. It was a large establishment with ample seating. For appetizers, I ordered the Braised Earth Bowl, which was a mixture of braised tofu w. wood ear mushrooms. As someone here as mentioned, we got a few pieces of plastic on our batch. They gave us a new batch, but I didn't really enjoy the dish enough to overlook the plastic issue. For my main, I got the chicken "hor fun" which was made of wheat noodles instead of the traditional rice noodle. The flavor was there, but the hor fun (it being made of wheat) was chewy and weird. I did appreciate that this noodle restaurant has a lot of different types of noodles to choose from, but wasn't impressed with this dish. Next time, if I am in the neighborhood, I would stick with the noodle soups.

My husband and I went to this Asian-fusion restaurant a few times in the past. And the experience has been better and better. The wonton noodle soup and the beef noodle soup are our favorites. The steam dumplings are a must-haves as well. We will give five star for the taste and quality of the food! Today we tried the 'Hor Fun' and Lo Mei', both dishes are great as well.

I ordered the Raging Ramen. It was SO GOOD. The meat was sweet and savory. I just wish it was a little more spicy. We came in around 9:30PM, almost closing time, but they were so nice to serve us. They were friendly and welcoming. Even though we came in late, they didn't make us feel rushed. Definitely coming back!

I came here for the first time for lunch and they offer a dine-in only lunch special from 11-4 pm daily. The place was spacious with tables and booth seating. The design of the kitchen is very modern and transparent. I tried several dishes: RW Raging Ramen, RW Chicken Stir-fried "Hor Fun," Barbeque Pork noodle soup, Braised Earth Bowl, and Chicken Skewers. The Braised Earth Bowl was sweeter than the better ones I have eaten. Unfortunately, I found two small pieces of plastic, probably from the utensil used to scoop this out (it's a cold dish that is already prepared). I told the waiter and he immediately switched it for me. The chicken skewer was plain like boiled dried chicken on a stick. For me, the raging ramen might be more suitable for those who can eat hot/spicy foods, but I didn't like it as much, and this is with the "spicy" sauce on the side that I could add to my liking. The noodles inherently itself is made spicy, and I found the dish very oily because there was chili oil added as part of the sauce. The BBQ pork noodle had good flavoring in the soup base, the noodle was good. To my surprise, this Renwen Noodle factory manufactures 17 different types of noodles that you can choose from--probably why there "Noodle factory" in its name. My favorite dish in the meal was the stir-fried "Hor Fun." Compared to the familiar beef chow ho-fun that I grew up eating, their "Hor Fun" was chewier and there were a lot more veggies (bean sprout and green onions that I would've liked). I probably would come here again to try other foods but not the ones I have ordered because it just wasn't up to my standards.

Came in for a late lunch Saturday after working all day and to my surprise they had awesome lunch specials! (Forgot to snap a photo of the lunch menu). After reading friend and fellow Yelper Roger's review I was expecting a bare bones cafeteria type place, but I found it large and spacious. I didn't mind the light colors and open air kitchen. Their website says "Ren Wen Noodle Factory is a lab for curating new and innovative products" - I got this vibe. The lunch menu is the same as the regular menu (portion size), but the price much better! Here's the run down: Chasiu App - Lunch this was less that $4. Generous, but we found the meat a bit tough and chewy. The end pieces that were cooked more were easier to bite. Decent flavor, but overall disappointing. RW Raging Ramen - This dish was spicy and generously topped with minced pork, red peppers, sesame seeds, and scallions. Fantastic flavor and the noodles had a great texture. The soft boiled egg addition was cooked perfectly. Get this if you want a spicy dish (At lunch this was less than $6) RW Beef Noodle Soup - This was the dish I was craving and it did not disappoint. It was served very hot and the flavor was more subtle, but as it cooled it brought out that rich broth. Yang Chun (Since Chun Yang is my favorite Boba tea spot currently I must conclude "Chun" and "Yang" translates to "seriously delicious") noodles were true to their description of smooth and silky. Lots of bok choy and beef with a hidden slab on bottom. Beef was very tender, but not chunks of brisket. The fat marbling looked a bit unnatural which made me suspect it was meat glue (Transglutaminase) holding it together. Unfortunately, not on the lunch menu and one of their pricier bowls at $14. Overall service was good and staff friendly checking on things and filling up tea glasses. Meats were a bit disappointing as noted above, but enjoyed the noodles and flavors a lot - I would come back.

I came for lunch on a recent Sunday for the first time. The restaurant is conveniently located near the 71st Avenue subway station. The entry is bright and welcoming; the restaurant itself is big, clean and laid out nicely. They have an open kitchen in the back. There were plenty of seating and I imagine this place would be good for group dining.

Love the variety of different kids of noodles to choose. We ordered 2 appetizers: fried shrimp roll and scallions pancake. Both are presented nicely and tasted fresh and yummy. Noticed there is an actress who paid extra attention on wiping the wet glass cup. Will visit again for casual family dinner

The entry is bright and welcoming; the restaurant itself is big, clean and laid out nicely. They have an open kitchen in the back. There were plenty of seating and I imagine this place would be good for group dining. I got the RW Stir Fried "For-Fun" with roast pork. It's basically a chow fun noodle dish except that wheat noodle is used here. The noodles are stir-fried with bean sprouts, onions, chives and roast pork. I liked that the noodles had a nice chewy quality, but it needed more sauce as it tended to clump together. I also got an order of pan-fried pork dumplings. I thought the pork had nice flavor, was very juicy and the wrapper was nice and thin. Wish it came with more than four pieces, though. It's not on their website but they have a lunch menu. At the end of the meal, I was completely full, and my bill only came out to $10.56 before tip! I'm sure I'll come again whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

Came here honestly expecting a mediocre experience, but was really pleasantly surprised when i was finally done with my meal. With a weird name like ren wen, and an interior and menu that resembles more a cafeteria than an actual restaurant, i originally though this place was going to be one of those ripoff low quality asian fusion like places that water down everything and does everything poorly in order to appease the locals, boy was i wrong. All the items here were pretty top notch, the flavors, the selection the noodles especially which was as close to perfect as possible since they were springy, chewy and not mushy at all! I ordered the baos, the cha siew rolls, the beef noodle soup and the ramen. Cha siew rolls were interesting, its basically like a spring roll with just pork and no veggies at all! With a variety of dipping sauce this app was an interesting fusion item that didnt let me down, the pork buns on the other hand were a let down, the cuts of pork were thin and bizarrely crunchy which is a huge deviation from the huge tender moist slabs of pork that im used to. The beef noodle soup was as authentic as it could be, with great flavors super clean and huge slabs of beef this item is a sure fire hit. The miso ramen tasted less like ramen and more like a fusion chinese japanese soup noodle dish, the shrimp defintely added a dimension that felt more chinese in nature. Place is pricier than your average chinese place but thats to be expected since its forest hills. Docked a couple of points for the weird interior and the fact that it tried to be a bizarre fusion place when clearly it is more taiwanese/chinese centric. Overall a super great spot and will defintely come back here again for more meals

Passed by this place several times, finally try it on an Friday afternoon. They have lunch special, $6 for different types of noodles. I chose Wonton noodle, it was really good. The texture of the noodle, 4 pcs of wonton (pretty generous), service was good, they have wifi, the place is clean and cozy. Lovely.
