The wraps aren’t any good but if you’re looking for a good acai bowl i’d recommend this place. They make it fresh on the spot and the staff is really nice (the cooks in the back)

I just came to this place for the first time. The young guy was helpful as he suggested things. I picked up my food but have a tip because that’s who I’m but the guy on the register was miserable. I don’t know if he was having a bad day but if you have a customer and spends a considerable amount of money, being nice makes me want to come back and because of this guy, I don’t know if I would . Haven’t tried the food yet but the service was bad.

I paid almost $15 for a grilled chicken wrap that is 75% lettuce. I’ve paid less than half of that for grilled chicken wraps at other places that was entirely made of chicken. Complete rip off and I can’t justify coming back here, which is sad as I was excited at the premise of a healthy cafe.

This is my 1st time eating from here and the portions are definitely worth the money. Food tasted fresh. There was a little too much onions in my salad. The guy behind the counter was okay. Would comeback again. The lunch specials are definitely worth the money.

I don’t understand all of the reviews below - this place is so kind and helpful! The server provided me with quick service and kind accomodation. I always come to this spot for an açai bowl whenever I am in NY and it never disappoints.

If your in Forest Hills & your looking for something healthy then you might want to try Ripe Juice Bar. It's located on the second floor of an outdoor storefront on Austin st between 70 Rd & 70 Ave. They serve a nice variety of salads, smoothies, wraps & entrees. I've tried most of their smoothies (protein & just fruit) & their all good. Fresh squeezed juices are available. I haven't tried their breakfast wraps but their Ripe steak wrap is hearty & delicious. Can't go wrong with their grilled salmon either. Açaí bowls & grilled burgers (various kinds) are also options. Service is friendly & quick. You can even call ahead for pickup if your in a rush. If your looking for something after a workout or just a healthy alternative, check out Ripe Juice bar & grill.

It always pains me to write a negative review especially for a local small biz but I feel a need to warn others. I got a small juice (the "Rejuvenator") a few weeks ago and got a terrible case of food poisoning. I will spare you the graphic details. The fact that my juice was served lukewarm should have been the first sign that something was wrong, even though it looked and tasted ok. They must not have the correct temperature control for their fruits and veggies, or there was some sanitary issues... not really sure what the cause is but even if it was a one time fluke I would not risk going back... Not to mention the store manager is really rude, as evidenced by some other reviewers. I remember he offered to double stamp someone else's loyalty card but did not even offer to tell me about their loyalty program. I had to ask him for a stamp card, which he begrudgingly gave me. Not that it matters now, since I won't be returning. TLDR; stay away...

This place masquerades as a health food store, and certainly some healthy items can be found. But when you offer wraps that only include meat proteins with no vegan options you really are not serving customers who expect the basics of non - meat offerings.

The acai bowl was really really good. One of the better I've ever had.
