Good Chinese restaurant in Forest Hills. Everything was served very fast. Price was reasonable; lunch special pricing is a great deal. Food was good

The worst experience I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant!! Service is terrible and waitresses were rude! They force us to leave a gratitude!!!! And didn’t let us go without paying for tips!
To be fair food was ok.. but would never recommend it for people who are looking for good vibes..
would never go back.

They have the most delicious Singapore rice noodle!!! I’m obsessed. And of course, soup dumplings really great.

The food was pretty decent. However, the lunch special portion was too small for the price compared to many other Chinese takeout places in the area.

Im so disappointed in my first take out order here. I’ve heard amazing things about this neighborhood fave for years so I’m surprised that most of my order was underwhelming. I ordered the braised cabbage and pork belly-the amount of veg to meat was horrible. It was like 90% cabbage. 5/6 slices of pork maybe?! The beef in pancakes was good. Not worth $40. Maybe more of a dine-in spot?

We’ve been there several times. Their cumin beef or cumin lamb is spicy but so very good. I like their beef noodle soup and their double cooked pork belly lunch special is a good deal. Actually, their lunch special is probably the best deal. My dad likes their lo mein because the noodle is soft enough for him to eat. I also like their dan dan mein. Scallion pancakes are decent. I’m not a big fan of their soup dumplings. I feel like I’ve had better elsewhere. Overall their food is good.
The restaurant is small but cute. Service is usually good.

A great place for some noodles!

This is probably the best tomato noodle soup I've had. The broth was robust and flavorful. The flavor also seeps into the noodles.

The dan dan noodles are delicious too.

The scallion pancakes stuffed with duck is a must try!

I'll be returning to try more food.

Would recommend!

I have eaten here twice and shall gladly come again. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was genuinely warm.

In addition to paying 80$ for 2 meals, and it being filled with oil there was also a staple in my beef and broccoli. Just unacceptable ……

perfect for my spicy food craving. I get dry pepper or hot sauce fish. it's over $20 but decently sized, great value. it's like 1.5 or 2 meals worth depending on how much rice you eat, absolutely delicious ?

I take anyone who likes spicy food. in general, one of the best restaurants in forest hills, top tier chinese food

I usually do take out but the staff is always very friendly and welcoming

This place needs to go. It used to be good, but it hasn't been good in years. My Ma Pao tofu tasted like a child was given bean curds, sugar, clove, water, and threw it all in and said good luck. Farmhouse pork used to be outstanding, but now that's bad. Stay away

On Sunday, 10/20/2024, my vegetarian friend and I ate a lovely dinner here. We ordered the herbal tea which was good. I ordered the chicken lo mein with light onions which was good but needed more chicken. My friend ordered the layered tofu with cumin and it had too many onions. The seasoning was good, the food was tasty and it’s good hangover food. We will return.

Vegetarian options: Good seasoning and quality.

Bad food, served like a dog, lousy taste and consistency.stale. When waitress was told this, she had an attitude and refused to change both our orders.
Usually, if unsatified, restaurants try to please a customer.
Bad and mean answers and when left no tip as a result, they insulted you.
Never again, do not go there, plus more expensive than others of their ilk
