І the food is delicious . but the atmosphere wants better. it's better to take it with you
Sushi Time! is always my hubby's and my go-to-sushi-craving-appeasing -eatery when we travel to NY.
Since they initially opened almost two decades ago, we've habitually eaten at the restaurant -- countless times when we lived in NY and even after we moved to NW CT in 2010. Now living in VA these past three years, our trips to NY are not as frequent, BUUUUT we make certain to eat at Sushi Time! when we are there -- whether just landed at one of NYC airports, passing through or visiting for several days. Yes, thats how much we enjoy eating at Sushi Time!
Jenna and her staff are always welcoming and amazingly friendly and attentive from the moment you walk into the restaurant, regardless if they just opened the doors to the very last minute they close at night.
Their sushi quality and specialty rolls combinations and flavours are impeccable. Never disappointing.
I highly recommend Sushi Time! Go and be delighted, your taste buds will thank you.
I love it here
Freshest eel avocado roll I've ever had. Yay
Super cute, clean store front on Austin Street. Delicious, melt-in-your mouth sushi. Can't wait to come back!
Best tasting sushi. With the best service!
First time trying this place, it was small for a dine in so i did take out, got mango tago, lucky 7 roll and california maki, it was really good, they made it as you order it.. The staff was friendy.. For a sushi lover like me,it did not disappoint and i would definitely comeback and try their other variant of sushi.
Yup, worth it. Reviews don't lie lol.
Decided to check out this local sushi spot on Austin St. after noticing the steady foot traffic. It’s a small place with just two tables, but the sushi is made fresh on-site. Some rolls were delicious, while others could use a bit more flavor—but overall, it’s a solid option for what and where it is. Don’t expect a fancy presentation or upscale atmosphere—just simple, friendly service and satisfying sushi.
The special rolls are delicious! A hidden gem in this neighborhood

I’m literally mid sushi while writing this. This place has the freshest sushi I’ve had in the area. I’m so serious, this is high quality sushi, great texture, great taste, fresh, and overall amazing. The salmon is buttery and the avocado is not hard or too mushy. It’s a bit pricier than other places, but it’s well worth the price. 10/10, I can’t believe I never entered until today.

I used to love this place. The staff are friendly, and it was my go-to for decent sushi and sashimi at a decent price when I couldn't take the trip to my favorite place in Astoria. I have no clue what happened, but the last two times I ordered the medium combo, the salmon, tuna sushi, and sashimi ---and even the eel at one time were stale. I never experienced eating old raw fish, and it was disgusting. IMHO, it is better that they charge a few more dollars than try to minimize their expenses by selling old fish. I feel traumatized by this experience (I almost vomited) and will stop coming here. I am a sushi lover, but after eating Sushi Time's stale sushi, I need to take a break from eating any raw fish. Just the thought of sushi now makes me gag.
