Not bad. Good prices for bigger portions. Only gripes are that the ginko roll didn't have enough salmon, and the rice could be seasoned a little bit more, but still a solid sushi spot. Nice workers.

I don’t usually stay there for my food so I put atmosphere at 3 stars. The sushi is typically great quality and the prices are very reasonable. The hey also have lunch and dinner specials and the tuna tataki is incredible. It’s also the only major sushi restaurant in the immediate area. Unfortunately, it has been closed recently and my wife and I are sad about it.

Very low quality sushi. The salmon was not fresh, the cream cheese was disgusting. Even the rice was so hard. For $7-8 per roll avoid this place. I mistakenly ordered from here vs another umi sushi on union turnpike which is way better. Avoid this Umi Sushi on metropolitan.

I came here during the summer and as soon as I walked in I wish I walked back out. one the place did not smell well, two when we got the teriyaki chicken it note look at all like the teriyaki chicken we had at there other locations (if you want good teriyaki then go to the one in union turnpike) and the weighted was very rude when we made complete about the food which was genuinely just boiled chicken with soy sauce . I do not recommend going here but if you do want to go to one of there better places go to the one in union turnpike

My favorite neighborhood sushi spot. I love being able to see my sushi made and plated behind the counter in such a low key spot on Metro. Really wonderful value for fresh ingredients.

Food is decent but the staff are pretty unfriendly and unwelcoming.
I decided to give this sushi place a try but it was a mediocre experience. It’s one of the only Japanese places in the area so I would still eat here in a pinch.
We got the bento dinner boxes, which were $22 each
