Sorry to give only 1 star. This place was pretty solid. I don't know what happened, the inside has really tanked. Not very clean. I can't go back.

I must say this place never disappoints. I should preface that I only order take-out from this restaurant and only sushi, but I am consistently ordering my lunch from here when I am craving sushi. Their fish is fresh and delicious and I've never gotten a bad order. I love it and it's my go-to.

The sushi here is good. I like their special rolls and usually order an assortment and it is mostly consistent. Their kushi yaki entree is a favorite when I am craving hot food and the beef is so tender. But they do not follow instructions and are extremely stingy. I ordered $75 worth of sushi on a week night. Times are tough in this economy and we are all feeling it, so this was a splurge to celebrate a career/educational milestone for my husband. We have a little one and could not go out, but I wanted to treat him to one of his favorite meals. I specifically asked for extra wasabi bc they always give the same half teaspoon portion of wasabi whether you order 1 roll or 10 rolls. The sushi arrived and lo and behold: they provided half a teaspoon of wasabi. How unbelievably obnoxious to spend $75 on sushi, overall $90 including delivery fees, and not be able to enjoy the meal because the restaurant is too cheap to provide the adequate amount of an accompanying condiment. That is extremely frustrating! I have been a loyal customer for years but I can’t take it anymore. STOP BEING SO UNGENEROUS to your customers! Sushi without wasabi is like French fries without ketchup: incomplete!

My brother ordered from the wrong Umi Sushi, but we never expected the worse. We payed $54 for below average food from taste to presentation and weird looking wasabi. Not to mention HORRIBLE sushi that doesn’t even stick hopefully things can get better for this spot but until then 0/10 don’t recommend at all save your stomach & money.

Small account of rice on the California roll and the spicy tuna roll. The rice and sushi taste old too. Had the same experience before but thought it was just bad luck of a batch or something. This was my second and last time with this

My go to sushi spot! Their spicy mayo is the best I've ever had, so definitely order it with your sushi:)
