always driven past this notable landmark but never stopped until this week. needed lunch on the way home (rochester) from a camping trip at limekiln. stopped in a little after 11. fought a little with the front door but found out they were in fact open and serving food. the chicken salad melt sandwich is what dreams are made of. We made a trip up and finally stopped. A couple of beers and some wings on the way. The service was great, and the wings were also great, best that we have had in awhile. Definitely stop here!!!
Four of our party were leaf peeping recently around the Old Forge area. This restaurant/bar was recommended to us. We arrived shortly after 11:00am for lunch. The hostess acted as the greeter, waitress, bartender and just about every other position. Our meals consisted of fish fries and chicken wings.
