Exactly what you'd expect out of a delicious home cookin country diner. All the staff are a buncha sweethearts and the owner takes pride in her food. To include a laundry list of homemade pies. You just don't see homemade pie anymore and in my opinion you should'nt be able to call yourself a diner without it! Also, they serve breakfast all day, which should be another stipulation to be able to claim yourself a diner. Anyone who stops breakfast at 10:30 is not a diner!
First time eating here. It was awesome. They don't skimp on the serving sizes either. We were too full to eat dessert there, but we did get it to go. Their apple pies are delicious, and hubby says their coconut cream pie is really good too.

So we hit up Forestport for the Eclipse and while clouds rolled in minutes before totality...the food still left us happy. CASH ONLY. And while they have an ATM, it broke while we were there...luckily, we had some. Service was outstanding. Growing up in Minnesota, you truly need to appreciate the authenticity of waitresses in smaller sized towns, they will treat you like a regular if you are kind and let you know the business end if you aren't.
