If you’re anywhere near Bear Mountain, do yourself a favor and stop by Bear Mountain Pizza. I went in specifically for an Italian sub — and it did NOT disappoint. The bread was fresh and perfectly crisp on the outside while soft inside. The meats were layered generously and tasted high quality, not the cheap deli stuff. The balance of provolone, lettuce, tomato, oil, and vinegar was spot on — flavorful without being soggy. Every bite had that classic, authentic Italian deli taste. The portions were solid, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that relaxed, local pizzeria vibe you want after a long day or hike. I’ll definitely be back. If you’re craving a legit Italian sub near Bear Mountain, this is the place.

Very nice pizzaria that have some of best pizza I ever had. Good ingredients, perfectly cooked, so fresh and tasty. Service is also great. It has some outdoor space and small interior seating.

Walk in, the entry way is crowded with tables, flies buzzing. Tried to order, no one acknowledged or welcomed my family in. They had an iPad to order on, but a woman walked back behind the counter, also didnt acknowledged us. I asked her if I should order on the iPad or with her, she said give me a minute and order with me. Got a draft beer, it came out with the top 3 inches empty. Normally I wouldve let it slide, but i was charged 11 dollars for this draft. I took it back to the front and the woman apologized and topped it off. Had to fill cups at a water jug myself for the kids. Food came out one pizza at a time. One pizza out, waiting with three hungry kids for the spaghetti, garlic knots, and second pizza. Fifteen minutes go by, no more food. I go up and ask about the food, they acted like they had no idea about it. I reminded them of my order. Another 15 minutes, spaghetti comes. Ten more minutes, garlic knots come. I told them to package the last pizza to go because the kids were out of patience. The waitress never apologized for the long wait or for forgetting the food. The quality and flavor of the food was in my opinion bad, certainly not worth tolerating horrible service. Paper plates, no silverware or salt/parm/pepper on the tables. Minimal effort put into the food and atmosphere and it felt like they intentionally tried to make patrons feel unwelcome.

I found it by accident. DELICIOUS food!! Staff wonderful and Providence is beautiful inside and out!! Best NY thin slice pizza, eggplant rollantini and pistachio gelato. A must do again and again

The menu has a lot of options from Italian full meals to delicious pizzas, Stromboli, calzones etc. to burgers and wings. Everything was delicious and the crust is the best! The service was fast and the staff is friendly and professional. It’s easy to park and access from 9w. They deliver to West Point and offer take out as well.
Nice people, nice ambience, but food (pizza and pastas) was pretty sub-standard. At lunch time there was barely any other customers. We will not come back.
