“This place serves consistently good food and it’s one of the few places that we visit when we crave good brunch and soups. It’s a family run place by a very friendly couple. It’s a bakery/ panaderia from outside but they serve savory breakfast items and lunch menu and dinners. The many versions of steak and eggs are yummy. The chicken and beef soup are very flavorful. Came with our son recently and he ordered the Birria tacos, they were so yummy as we expected but the sauces that came with it, we have never had such yummy sauces before! Everything is made fresh, even the baked goods! We also come sometimes with our dog, and there are ample seatings outside so we can sit outside with her as well! Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed”

“If I could give this place 6 stars I would! First Ingrid is the owner of this business and cooks all the food with the help of her cousin. Ingrid is so nice and will explain any part of the menu and you can tell she is an extremely proud owner of her food and culture! Now for the food it is phenomenal. The chicharrones are made to crispy and full of flavor. I would like to try more items but the chicharrones, pernil, tostones, madoros, and white rice are so perfect I can't get myself to try something different! Get there early because everything is made fresh so she will be out of some items later in the day. Very reasonable food prices with large portions. Great small business worth your support!”

I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. “New to area. Decided to try this restaurant this evening & so very glad we did!! Don't let the outside appearance of this establishment fool you. The interior is clean, warm & inviting. Staff is very friendly. Our server Diego ( hope I spelled it correctly) was, informative, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. A matter of fact, in today's dark & divided climate; he was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed his menu suggestions very much. The food was a plus 10! They even gave my husband and I a salmon & rice appetizer to sample, to welcome us to the area. Seriously, who does this anymore? Top notch customer service!! Most enjoyable meal & evening. Deff will be our go to restaurant for Japanese/sushi.”
