Absolutely amazing food. You can tell the food was carefully sourced and prepared because everything from the beer and drink selections the entrees were amazing. We got the duck wings and duck breast and the chicken and waffles (both delicious and highly recommended). Just happened to see this spot on Google maps on our way back from Albany. Well worth a stop and not too far off the thruway. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

The Table is a great little place locally. Steaks are always cooked to perfection, and menu is simple but has plenty of good options.

I was left speechless after attending a birthday dinner for a dear friend. Chef puts his absolute heart and soul into every dish that was served and the servers/staff created such a welcome and inviting atmosphere, it was impossible not to feel like family there. If you’re thinking about stopping, DO NOT HESITATE! I have not eaten anything like the meal Chef had prepared and was beyond impressed, a true delicacy. The creativity and personalization behind every dish was incredibly intricate and carefully thought out. If you’re looking for a meal to remember, The Table is a must.

Amazing Chef owned restaurant. Made me a "custom" dish based on my likes and dislikes.

Vegetarian options: None on the menu but Chef will accommodate

The food was amazing and the chef clearly enjoys his craft. So thankful to find such quality in a tiny town.

An unusually good local food meal and a fantastic seafood meal. This is now on our top regular places to frequent. Intriguing menu and specials list. We loved it.

We called for a dinner reservation at 4 pm, were in at 6:30.Although there were more tables, they limit the number of people and stagger the seating so the chefs and wait staff can give ample attention to each person and each meal. The chef and his staff are among the best in the world! The freshest ingredients (has a daily seasonal menu) although we ordered off the regular menu (about 7 choices) and every mouth full was delicious. We three shared the panzanella salad appetizer - the soaked bread was perfect and the light dressing enhanced the fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Two of us had the grilled monkfish, which was simply and perfectly cooked/presented with veggies and the MOST incredible mashed potatoes we've ever had (chef did share his secret ingredients and proportions, but I promised not to tell). One person had the filet mignon with caramelized onions, with the potatoes and tender asparagus. We each paired our meals with a glass of wine - and were, sadly, too full to attempt a dessert. The chef visited each table - how rare is that! We learned he had worked in the greater D.C. area restaurants for decades before returning home to Fort Plain to open the BEST restaurant north of NYC (and we would challenge NYC restaurants with Table!). If we didn't live 7 hours away, we would be back weekly!
