Well worth the stop traveling through we came across this gem, Marybeth our server was outstanding. Our meal exceeded all expectations in flavor and taste we started with the fresh homemade onion rings and chicken soup, for our main dishes we had beef tips, jack Daniel's strip, crusted chicken parm, and cordon blue 😋 we ended with one of their fresh baked coconut cream pies 🥧 All of us agreed this was one of our favorite stops from Missouri to Maine we loved Kitlas...

I love this little hole in the wall spot. The food was sooo good. You can tell it was made from scratch. I got the berft sirloin tips over mashed & my husband got the steak strips over rice with peppers. I will definitely recommend this spot. Or was very clean & neat inside. Our waitress Rita was thee best. Mary was such a kind one helping her also. They both are such nice ladies.

Easy to get to from Downtown Utica just quick drive down NYS Route 5S. The Kitlas has been open since 1939 and it’s a third generation business and Tom the owner being very personable also an outstanding chef. They have all the original furnishings in great condition and adds to the warm ambiance. The music selection spans many decades and was one of the best I’ve heard at a restaurant.

I love seeing history through the pictures on the walls. Excellent value...
