Always amazing food

Ruby’s is one of our favorite dining places. I am amazed at how they consistently serve such delicious offerings and the generosity of the serving size. That alone would keep me coming back so add in the ambiance of the place, quasi 1950’s , art from local artists, and the warmth make this place must do restaurant. Covid has changed the service. You need to reserve and order before you go, so-call ahead to make arrangements you won’t be disappointed!

What can I say? The food was delicious. You could tell it was so lovingly prepared. A beautiful historic location in a quaint little town. Beautiful works of art adorn the walls, in a retro building where time seems to stand still. You will be amazed by any dish you order there. Places like this need to be supported!

Ana and Frank are the most incredible hosts. What an absolute historic gem. I adored my stay here. Run don’t walk - Ana’s food is divine and Frank’s art adorns the walls. Wow.

Great food, great service, great fun. What's not to like? Ana and Frank, the owners, are the belle of the ball. And if you weren't already sold, they also get some amazing music acts in there.

Friendly, cozy, artsy, restaurant with delicious food. Rooms are quaint and clean. Enjoyed our stay and Frank and Anna are wonderful hosts! Frank is a productive ceramic artist whose work can be seen on the walls of various NYC subway stations.

This place is only open to eat on Friday and Saturday. That being said - If you're in town, you 100% have to give this place a shot. I know I'm only giving it 4 stars but that doesn't mean it's not really really good. Their meals are straight home cooked from a very experienced chef. To the best of my knowledge, the menu changes every night and it's really just a unique, eccentric, artsy restaurant that belongs in Brooklyn or New York City, but found in a small town in upstate New York. Especially considering the area, this place is an absolute gem in regards to the product, service, and atmosphere they provide. Will def come back again when in Hunter - thank you!!

this is one of those unique places when you visit you feel like you're at home. Your Host & Chef's Passion is summed up in two words, Culinary Education, and Customer Satisfaction, with her skills, and Artistry. Chef Ana's Vision in the kitchen is Pride of New York, Sustainable, Organic, Farm to Table, where she sources the finest ingredients, and shares that value with her guests. Now front of the house, you'll be greeted by Frank, single-handedly one of the most fascinated gentleman you'll meet, and will make you feel complete during your entire visit. He is a
