Fairly pricey for the portions which I didn't mind. My problem was the frozen fish, no way it was fresh, the entire coating came off which does NOT happen, when fish fresh is battered and fried ; totally disappointed!!!

Food is amazing 5/5 every time. Everything is made fresh and they get a lot of business which means you’re going to be waiting sometime. But, they do take online and phone orders. They are very welcoming and very nice. They will let you sample different menu options and not spoonful samples but real samples. They are very nice and I’m so proud of their success. My go to is the whiting, which is the real whiting not the frozen bagged one. Also, the new clam strips and new fries are amazing!!! And the fried okra, chefs kiss. Really great restaurant, you can’t go wrong.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food here is amazing! The fried cat fish delicious and the cornbread was so soft and flavorful, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the chicken wings and loved every bite. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Great food, great flavors we’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was mediocre, I tasted more oil than anything.the whiting was very fishy, I ate 1 piece and another half and it all came up.The whiting, I rate it a 2 out of 5. The atmosphere was dull and the staff was very unfriendly sad to say. The two young men seemed so withdrawn. Also the adult female that was taking the orders,. Not friendly. I said hideous doing with a smile, which is the correct thing to do, but nothing. I should've kept driving. Anyway my stomach is still hurting and the place is the worst. If you want good fish, don't go there. Peace

First off, the food here is incredible. The fish is always fresh, the sides are flavorful, and you can tell there’s real love going into the cooking. It’s the kind of spot that makes you crave seafood even when you didn’t plan to. And I have to give credit to the lady taking orders—she’s consistently kind, calm, and genuinely pleasant every time. You can tell she’s doing her best, even when it gets hectic.
But during my visit, I saw something that left a bad taste—not in the food, but in the customer experience. A man waiting over an hour for his food understandably got frustrated and asked for a refund. The guy working the register didn’t handle it well at all. He was rude, defensive, and totally out of line. Instead of defusing the situation, he made things worse. Watching that interaction was overwhelming and upsetting—especially because the customer was just trying to express valid frustration.
It's really disappointing to see that kind of behavior in a place with such fantastic food and hardworking staff. The lady taking orders deserves credit for holding it all together, but the man behind the counter? He needs to seriously reflect on how he treats people. If the vibe doesn’t match the quality of the food, it can hurt the business—and that would be a real shame.
Here’s hoping the team can work on communication and service. Because when the food’s this good, you want the whole experience to match.

I’ve ordered through Uber eats and today I went to the restaurant and placed my order ; they really put their foot in it!! Everything is so tasty and fried perfectly! Golden brown! It is definitely worth the wait time; anything that’s good there’s going to be a wait . Living in a microwave generation erone wants it now! This was well worth the wait! The cantaloupe juice is Amazing!!!
