Food didn’t taste great at all. Ordered the brisket dinner with mac n cheese and string beans. All of it was bland and had no seasoning. The only good thing out of the meal was the Half Lemonade and Half Tea. Service was great though

The food was so amazing, I ascended into heaven and came back to Earth like a whiplash. The ribs were so good that I got BBQ sauce on my shoulder and eyebrow, and of course my hands. I ate like a starved dog. The owner came up to us and made sure we were well taken care of. 10/10 place.

I have eaten food from here many times This time I got the fried chicken dinner with potato salad and green beans. I’ve had the chicken before and it’s very good and plentiful. However the potato salad is definitely NOT like mamas! Too much paprika and it tastes like vinegar! No eggs and very little relish. I was sad

Place is real nice, the food is made to order, customer service is good too. I live in Suffolk County and I drive out to this place to eat, Turkey wings scrumptious, collards are real good, Mac and cheese creamy, sweet corn love it. I recommend any person to go and enjoy

Good sit down soul food place. Most meals are above average insides are mostly good as well although it pays to be picky about them.
Dessert cakes are delicious but overpriced.

Where to begin. I walked in to order. I have driven past this place for a long time and decided to stop in and get some takeout. Long wait to place an order. On a wednesday afternoon no candied yams. I'd love to support black businesses.I'll always give them a shot but, t I have to be honest this place was very disappointing. The macaroni and cheese was dry and bland. I went home and I had to add more cheese to it.I had to add a little evaporated milk and some onion powder to give it some seasoning. The fried chicken and the barbecue chicken were super dry. The corner of the cob looked like it had been there for days.The kernels were so shrunk that it looked like it had been in the steamer for hours. Collard greens were just bland so just add some hot sauce.Some garlic powder, some dried onion.And that helped wake up the flavor but again, that's like cooking it myself. The turkey wings were very tender, but bland and no gravy, especially when I asked for extra gravy. Now onto desserts. I ordered a sweet potato cheesecake.The container was crusted and covered with dried food.I asked her to take that one back and give me a different one. The sweet potato cheesecake was coyingly sweet.It tasted like brown sugar and cinnamon couldn't find the sweet potato anywhere. Banana pudding tastes like vanilla pudding with graham crackers not a hint of banana flavor not a piece of banana in the banana pudding. Not one piece of banana, not even a chip of banana, not even banana extract. I don't need red velvet cake.I got it for my daughter.She hasn't eaten it yet so I can't give you a review on that. Now I know I have a discerning palate but, my husband who usually likes everything even the things that I don't like he eats. He thought it was terrible. And they could do it sprucing up the interior, it looks like part of it's still under construction, but it's very dark and not super clean, Which is a problem for me. I'm being generous with the two stars for the food, i gave two stars for the service.Because the lady was nice, but she was slow and look a little bit frazzled. She had to go to the closet to get cups, then go to the back to get ice and then go up the stairs to get water for the guest. Looks like the way the restaurant is set up. It's set up for failure.

Bobby Q’s is a culinary delight. The staff was warm and friendly and the service was fast. Pictured are the grilled shrimp and salmon with grits and fried dish and shrimp over yellow rice . Everything was delicious. I’ve been several times and will definitely be back in the near future.

I had the fortunate opportunity to attend this establishment with my book club sisters. The food, atmosphere, ambiance, customer service were all simply above amazing. When I say the food was amazing, I mean it was AMAZING.

...as I look at the most recent reviews all of them are consistent with sub-par service. I don't see where the restaurant owners responded in a positive light, for the diners negative experience in the restaurant. Hopefully, the owners will review their practices. Good food, good customer service, is key for your continuous success. I surely will not book my group at this restaurant. May Continuous Blessings Abound You .

Chicken was Undercooked and the ribs look very un appetizing. I didn't even want to try them. Sides were OK

It was a craving at first. Then a couple sides taste like its from out a can. BBQ chicken wasn't cooked well. Was red on the inside. Manager lady is too loud. Let the people eat in peace. Then we the customers are getting played by the prices. Please pay attention to your receipt. Its says $25.99 on the menu but its extra when you look on the receipt. Money hungry and robbing the community. Im done !!!!

I cant believe this place is still open. The food is disgusting. It is absolutely horrible. The yams were burnt and unidigestible. The mac and cheese is just shameful. Turkey were deplorable. I called to complain and the general manager did absolutely nothing! Please do not waste your money. I was i could insert pictures to exactly how disgusting the food looks. Long Island soul food is another option.
