I came here to order food on the go. I noticed there were eat outdoors as well as indoors. I ordered the turkey wing dinner, which comes with two sides. I decided to get the mash potatoes and mac & cheese for my side. It came to $19.54. The Turkey was juicey, and they provided gravey in the dishes.While waiting, I noticed they have special event such as Fish Fry Fridays!, Mother Day Special, and Sunday Brunches.Parking: There is a parking lot available by the restaurant.

This is our second visit. My husband order backed chicken and they gave him burnt grilled chicken not sure if the chef is confused. My whiting meal was fine. Jaina the waitress was very sweet and professional

I ordered fried wingets spicy cabbage and collard greens. I got baked wingets!! Not fried I should have known when I asked for fried chicken white meat and was told they don’t have any but we can give you fried wingets the young lady suggested The spicy cabbage was terrible season just sprinkled over half cooked cabbage the collard greens were dry no taste of seasoning! Very disappointing my wife ordered turkey wings cabbage and potato salad for a soul food restaurant to say like mama use to make there is no way you could stamp mom’s name on this I would be a-shame!!! Also ordered whitings since it was a Friday night wanting some fish bad bad choice no taste no flavor bland as bland can be!!!Not a good experience best thing was the bottle water !! Will not can not ever go here again cannot support my own with your food this bad on a Friday night if one think people we know is soulfood and this is not soulfood for our peopleAll the best to Bobby’s but there is nothing southern about your food but the name of it!!Very disappointing spending $70.00 and was not pleased did not eat the food once home to the trash can it went. Hopefully others have a better experience than I had good luck!!’

We love ordering from here all the time! And when the weather gets better, we’re planning to go in person! Every single one of their portions is huge and we love it! And if you’re craving flavor in a flavorless town over, this is the place to go!Here is what we have so far:Smoked Jerked chicken - big ole chicken and was delicious! Finally a jerk chicken spot that had full flavor and spice!Oxtail dinner - sooooo good and hit the spot for my oxtail craving!Sliced Brisket - delicious and good portion too!Beef Short Ribs - my favorite!Fried chicken - our least favorite, it was all breast meat (we love!) but it was completely flavorless/not marinated… maybe we got a bad batch?Getting the beef plate tonight, can’t wait to try the burnt ends!All the sides are great, our favorite is the potato salad! But Mac and cheese - good, mash potato - good, collard greens - good, corn - good! Can’t wait to try the rest and so grateful they are so close to a neighborhood that fears spices!!!

10 out of 10 would recommend and will be back!….. hosted a last minute get together needed some side dishes called on a Friday and the owner Bobby was more then happy to accommodate my short notice order and I truly appreciate that everything that I ordered was delicious… I went in the same day I did my catering order that Friday and purchased two dinner ah-mazing. This was my first time in the establishment let alone using them and I will be back for sure!!

TL;DR: Not quite like how mama used to make it. This food could use a bit more soul.Every time that I’ve passed Bobby Q’s throughout the year I’ve thought to myself, “I need to try their food.” Well, as I drove past a few hours ago I turned around and decided that today would be the day.The parking situation is a bit sketchy in front of the restaurant. I don’t know if there’s a dedicated lot elsewhere, but you may want to research the parking situation before you come if you’re not a fan of pulling over to the side of a busy road. The interior layout of the restaurant is unique. There’s a dining area with tables to the right and a counter for takeout and pickup orders on the left. If you look straight ahead there appears to be a space for private events or storage… honestly I couldn’t tell.ORDERING: The employee behind the counter patiently answered my questions and offered suggestions. I ordered two fried chicken dinners and a 6-piece (fried) wingettes. My sides were mac & cheese, collards, fried okra, and French fries. With tax, those items came to $52. I was told that everything should take 15-20 minutes, but we ended up waiting half an hour. After the first twenty minutes the employee behind the counter repeatedly asked the kitchen to hurry up with our order. I appreciate his efforts to speed up the process. I still wonder why it took so long since all three mains were fried chicken and the sides were likely pre made.THE FOOD: When we got in the car, my companion opened her takeout container and was greeted with four sizable pieces of fried chicken and crinkle cut fries. I was told that the fries were good and had the right amount of salt, but they were soggy due to sitting in the hot container for an extended period of time. I was able to bring the fries back to life with the help of an air fryer, which I also used on my extremely soggy fried okra.The chicken looked great and had a nice crunch, but there wasn’t much flavor. There was a hint of seasoning on the exterior, but it didn’t taste like the chicken had been brined or marinated. After the initial sensation of the bite, there wasn’t much follow through. My companion compensated for the weak flavor by drizzling the included barbecue sauce. I didn’t try the mac & cheese, so I can’t comment on it.Based on the lengthy wait time and soggy sides, I would not order takeout from Bobby Q’s again, but I would dine in for one of their daily lunch specials… if I happen to be in the area.
