Try the fruit del salad. The fish is super fresh. As they say buy with your eyes. I purchased while fluke, red snapper and shrimp. I asked for the head to be removed and scaled. Excellent job at cleaning. We all know seafood is expensive period. I was totally satisfied and joked around with the staff.
One of the OG spots on the nautical mile I remember going here as a boy and come back to visit every time I see family.
The BEST! Don’t think twice. Good quality fish, MEATY Snow Crabs. Great tasting Lobster. Everything is FRESH! Photos shown below is BEFORE I cleaned the Crabs. In the past, I’ve been to certain Markets where the top of the crabs are Brown & Green, GROSS! But this was nice & clean BEFORE I even washed them. The quality is there folks. I love this place. I live in Queens & I will always make the drive to Nautical Mile for this spot haha!
I drive 40 minutes to buy my fresh seafood here. Blue claw crab, clams, steamers and fresh fish. Everyone is helpful and courteous. I also get some fried shrimp and soft shell crab for the ride home.

we love captain ben's fish dock for fresh seafood! it's one of our favorite things to do on a Sunday... grill a nice piece of fish, freshly cleaned by one of the guys... have a some shrimp as well, why not make a little pasta?.. hey, we can grab some clams make a white wine sauce... !!!!! that is us every time we go in there !!!!! we always have so much food!
The salmon looks farmed not wild dated at times, the fried shrimp tasted cold and dated same with the crab cake. The New England clam chowder was good tho.
It is a great seafood store - I’ve been going there a lot more recently. The staff are friendly and the prices/ quality seem to be better than neighboring stores.

This is the REAL deal! Cheap clams and oysters, lobsters, plenty of fresh fish.
Nothing is fresh all stale fish that is over priced.
Great place been going there for years never had a problem and the fish cleaner do a great job .
How do they continue to lie to the public with no reprocussuons..... The salmon is all FARM RAISED, but it is advertised as "Wild Caught"
