Food consistly taste off. Drinks are good food is sketchy. The wings taste like at times they were expired, same with the burgers and tacos. I wouldnt be surprised if bar rescue came here they would shut them down. I love the atmosphere here tho. But I know when the food is off.

Staff was very friendly. Service was great. Lobster ravioli with vodka sauce and calamari appetizer were both excellent.Was there on a weekday in the off-season so it wasn't very busy. Heidi (Pinky) was bartender and waitress and very pleasant making small talk with us. Will definitely be back in season.

One of the few spots open on the nautical mile strip due to lots of rain and wind these past few days with hurricane Orphelia. That didn’t stop us and Half Way Down didn’t disappoint! Our first time checking out this spot and our server Martha was a an absolute gem providing top notch customer service. She was spot on with all her recommendations, spectacular attitude and sweet as pie.The bartender spun some amazing drinks and the biggest shout out goes to the in house DJ. He played hit, after hit. Love this spot and will definitely be back. 10 stars all day⭐️Unfortunately the grub we ordered was just above average but they make up for it in atmosphere and service? Next time I’ll try the fish tacos. Thanks for making my birthday oh so special xoxo

I went here the other day with a bunch of friends and we all REFUSE to go back until they stop using plastic straws!!! OUR BEAUTIFUL OCEAN ANIMALS ARE DYING BECAUSE OF INGESTING THESE PLASTIC STRAWS!! TURTLES, DOLPHINS, WHALES, SHARKS..etc.... IT'S CRIMINAL!!! Get with the program of protecting our Planet AND the Animals that call it their home! USE PAPER STRAWS!!!! THE EVIL HUMAN RACE NEEDS TO STOP BEING SO DAMN DESTRUCTIVE!

It was a nice place. Outdoor live music was loud, even inside. We weren't going to stick around long. Talking was almost impossible. They left before we did, so we stuck around.I had the shrimp tacos, which were delicious and reasonably priced. The mac and cheese was ridiculously expensive already, adding shrimp making it even more so. Almost $40 which was crazy to me. The drinks were OK. Nothing exciting. The waitress was great. I wouldn't come here to eat. Especially with so many delicious and less expensive options there. I'd grab a quick beer and be on my way.
