ordered off uber eats, got the oxtail egg rolls and rice and peas. egg rolls were amazing, tender oxtail and lots of it. also came with maduros/sweet plantain which were delicious if you like them soft. rice and peas were very bland, they gave me a whole lot for $5 so i assume they wanted to get rid of it. the peas were undercooked/powdery and overall just needed some salt. amazing otherwise don’t let the fake negative reviews steer you away

How to party of 20 yesterday. And right away we were greeted with awesome music from the DJ he was playing some old school. Then the bartenders were wonderful they came over and got us all drinks right away. The drinks could have been a little bit stronger but I asked my friends and they said it was fine. Just my opinion. The food came out amazingly quick and I was shocked because it was a three-course meal. Everything was on point I asked him if they were prepping and they were ready for us they said yes all day. Definitely recommend this spot. They're friendly a multicultural and it's a good vibes

Platinum Cuisine was a pleasant experience. From the looks of it, it seems like a restaurant. From the outside, this building looks different from the other businesses on the Woodcleft Avenue strip. It was different because it was taller with a contemporary look. Platinum Cuisine was visible to viewers moving in regular traffic. I just wanted to let you know that there is no parking provided. Parking is available in front of the business but is very limited. However, municipal parking is a large paid parking lot two blocks down the street. Upon entering, I saw a staircase leading to the second floor. Our staff holiday party took place on the second floor. On the first floor, it was a typical restaurant set up with chairs, tables, and a bar. A ramp leading to the main entrance and an elevator inside the main lobby were available to access the other floors. The second floor had the same restaurant set up with chairs, tables, a bar, a flatscreen TV, and an ample open space for dancing, which we did. It seems like a business for different venues, and the setup may be flexible to suit the patron's renting and catering needs. The food was excellent.
Very nice spot, but too cold. It's winter and by the water, turn up the heat!! Also went on a Thurs night and there was only one bartender and she seemed to have an attitude. She was not attentive at all. Had to pracrically beg to get her attention for a drink.

My friends and I went for dinner and had a blast. They easily accommodated our large party (11 people) with a decent wait time and no food mix ups. I have a lot of food allergies so I appreciate the fact that the staff moved very diligently to avoid cross contamination. It’s a bit difficult to find decent Caribbean food that isn’t ridiculously overpriced on Long Island but this place beats the odds. I recommend the oxtail with rice and peas, it’s fork tender and perfectly seasoned. From the hospitality to the drinks and food, this place doesn’t miss. I think this is one of the better places on the Mile, I’ll certainly be back.

I tend not to write bad reviews but I’m writing this because this place have a lot of potential. For starters, I think the music was too loud so we had to talk on the top of our voices to hear each other. We went on Sunday and they had a brunch menu which had about 5 entrees on it( not a problem). The problem came in when we had to wait over 40 mins for our food in a empty restaurant. It was about 5 ppl at the bar and another group of customers came 20 mins after us. We ordered (2)red velvet waffle with fried wings, another order of waffles and shrimp and we order grits and shrimp so we can all share being that it wasn’t any appetizers available. 3 out of the 4 food came out. By the time the 4th came out our waffles were cold. The syrup came out a good 5 mins after we received our waffle. The wings had no flavor. The best thing we had was the Cajun style shrimp. The sorrel lemonade had a off taste also. Please do better this is a great location.

Then the heavyset elder woman Diane told us we placed the wrong order. Take my advice and DO NOT support this establishment the food is not fresh. Got there around 8:15 pm, ordered food by 8:30 pm didn't get the food until 11:30 pm. The food was awful, took one bite and I left it, I'm with a group of people and no one was eating their food when they eventually got it. Half of the food wasn't even cooked properly, the vegetables were still FROZEN. We had the cops called on us after we refused to pay for food we DIDN'T EVEN EAT. Imagine waiting hours for food just for it to be uncooked and terrible, who would pay for that!! The owner Diana even threatened to have someone from our party shot on top of OVERCHARGING the food. The prices listed on their website isn't what she was charging us. The cops even tried to force us to pay the outrageous bill or arrest us. DO NOT GO OR EAT HERE. I've never had something like this happen to me before. THIS WHOLE ESTABLISHMENT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

If I could put no stars I would have. Went here last night for a full course meal and only ate the appetizer (not appetizing) and a few bites of the worst j*** chicken rasta pasta with fries that I’ve had in my life. They ruined my friends birthday and on top of that called the cops and made us waste our money when we didn’t want to pay for the full course meal that we didn’t even get served. Diana was disrespectful in her attitude and with the way CHEF BLANCO cooked the so called food. That wasn’t j*** and CHEF BLANCO needs to get out of the kitchen and never come back. We even saw the workers all eating downstairs while we were waiting to eat. I don’t usually ever leave reviews, let alone bad ones but they made me make the time for this. The reviews on here our definitely fake and should be investigated because nobody in their right mind would leave a good review for this scam of a “restaurant”.
