First time visiting ~ A long overdue Sistas Brunch and it was so much fun!!! DJ Jon Quick on the ones & twos, a hypewoman with a 🎤, towers of Rum Punch & White Sangria, good food (jerk lampchops, honey lemon pepper wings, catfish&grits, omelets, steak&eggs, etc), good atmosphere, great laughs!! I’ve always believed that excellence in service and honesty in business go hand in hand. During my recent visit, I was surprised to see a gratuity automatically added to my bill — for a small party of two.
If this was listed somewhere on the menu, I honestly didn’t notice it, but even so, why would it apply to such a small party? While I completely understand tipping and always do so willingly, customers should be given the choice — not have it automatically decided for them.
We genuinely want to see businesses in our community succeed and grow, but experiences like this can leave customers feeling disheartened and hesitant to return.
I’m sharing this respectfully, not in anger, but in the hope that this feedback encourages clearer communication with guests in the future. I truly want to continue supporting our local restaurants, especially those within our community, but fairness should always be part of the experience — because that’s what builds trust.

I got the lobster Mac and cheese and my plus one got the lobster roll, the food was absolutely incredible. Super delicious and fresh! The drinks and service was outstanding!! Our servers name was Tyler and he was super attentive and great with his recommendations. We were seated upstairs and it wasn’t loud but you could still hear the music it was the perfect ambiance after we went outside where the dj and bar was and it was such an experience, we didn’t even finish our drinks after dinner and they were so gracious to give us a cup to take it outside, such a great place with even greater vibes ❤️

The service was impeccable! I had the lamb chops for my entrée and they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was lively, the drinks were strong, and the attentive customer service made the experience even better. This was my second time dining here, and I’ll definitely be back to try their brunch.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with good food & drinks. Very good customer service! They have an indoir restaurant area, outdoor patio area w/bar, and a Skybar upstairs. It’s always a great time. I had my birthday party at the Skybar and it was so nice!

Warning: Do Not Trust Prime on the Mile
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Prime on the Mile was nothing short of a scam. My friends and I were grossly overcharged. We were in the middle of conversation when the waiter Shay K came over for payment, she didn’t provide an itemized bill and asked us how we would like to pay. She did not tell us the total amount or show us our bill. She then said that we each would owe $152 without showing any breakdown. Nor were we asked to sign for the charge, she signed our signatures. We left the restaurant, but upon realizing the amount was far too high, we returned to question it. Shay K was unfazed and had no explanation. She didn't give any explanation as to why we were charged $456 for a $289 bill. I asked her to show us our bill and she just showed me the drinks from our bill. I then asked to see a print out of the bill and she came back with our credit card payment receipt. At this point after such a runaround I requested to speak to the manager, she claimed the manager was in a meeting, but I saw the manager on the floor, ignoring us.
To rectify the situation, Shay K promised to refund the $152 charged to our cards and give us the cash back. However, when she handed us the cash, she took it directly from her pocket without going to the register. Additionally, despite asking her to print the correct bill, she never did. Our actual bill should have been $289, but we were charged significantly more. There was no apology for such a huge mistake and for the manager to avoid dealing with this situation is so unprofessional. I won't be returning to this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to. The food is subpar and the drinks were watered down. I've paid less for better food and service. The level of deceit is unacceptable! Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. Prime on the Mile = prime scam.
